    Gt-r

hi, i have a gtr that I'd like to sell. I need to make room in my garage for a Castrol Supra so i think it's time to sell. This one is a Nismo edition. it's got a stage 4 turbo, stage 3 intercooler, race chip and full race exhaust. it's been a while since i changed the tyres though, so you might need to do that. Race Medium tyres are on sale at the moment at Bob Jane though, so it's not to bad. Here's a pic of paint
  4. Thanks guys Benm, we've got a ute to shoot soon! June Pics After a bit more HDR playing around I've decided that the best kind of HDR is where you can't tell it's HDR. Sure, the first few I did i really emphasised it and made it as subtle as a train to the face, but after a while, and when you look back the most interesting ones are the subtle ones that show a few tones or shades you wouldn't normally be able to capture. I'm almost artistic(Austistic more likely) I went to Yarramundi to try some landscape and nature work. It was really nice there, I should head back soon for another wander. Had Queens Birthday Footy game. St Clair Wolves vs Penrith Bulls. After the game in the car park we mucked around and I took a couple shots of my mates ute. I'm going to do a proper shoot of this beast very soon. these shots are nice enough, and will be a good benchmark to gauge the new shots. I hope June wasn't to boring.
  5. Wow! they're amazing!!! That 2nd one could proudly be framed and hung on a wall in anyones house. Top effort man! 2nd attempt at strobist setup during sun (partially) up. The car is more evenly lit. The sky is natual, there's a shadow between the sky and car to seperate the two. I think it's a lot cleaner has a bit more pop.
  6. Gran Turismo
  7. What do you use to resize them Prue? We need to organise a Sydneysider shoot.
  8. May --- May 1st - Night time city shots - Long exposures Historic Racing Tilt Shift Miniature racers Just another day at work What a massive month! Penrith's newest building, government offices opposite station at dusk. Eastern Creek HDR Starion HDR
  9. Catch up Post I've been throwing everyting up in the monthly threads. thought i'd put some progress shots in here too so it's all nice and in one convienient spot. I might post up a couple of good ones in both and see how annoying it gets. A month a post for now... April 27 - Lake side panning.
  10. The tiger looks like that Ed Harry or Ed Harvey what ever the hell it is shirt. the car on the grass is different. The girl looks good too Nice work.
  11. I adjusted the light in the sky a bit, it looked stuck on though because of the lighting. Maybe I'll try for a little more subtlety next time. anyway, put up a rough 'feature layout' on the site. What's been written is pretty gay, just for space filler i guess and better than lorum ipsum Thoughts? http://mattheweveringham.com/?page_id=60
  12. Ummmm. Look at the picture. is it focused on what you want? No? reshoot. Yes... move along. It does take a while to work out whats going on and you need to get your eye in, but you'll build confidence, I was happy snapping while strolling around after a couple hours of full manual, and that included light metering with out a guide on camera due to ancient lens. Here's my first attempt at car lighting during sun up. Do you think it's a little over done, or just around right?
  13. What camera are you using? Focusing is on the lens. There's usually a switch to unlock it so you can move it yourself. Any camera should let you manual focus. Some cheaper ones won't auto focus, but that's not the issue. There might be a switch on the cam body to let you use manual mode too.
  14. Barra, is manual focusing an issue? I used to borrow the old work lenses which are pre auto, it didn't take long to get into manual focus mode once you had a bit of practice. might be an option
  15. I have all the presets except one set on jjj.(which the gf hate) I'm going to put some time into practicing with my new lighting potential. After that I should have some pennies and be able to make a really nice rig. I've got a good plan in my head for how to do one that's flexible and won't vibrate or sway to much. can't wait to get one sorted. I heart rig pics. they're awesome!
  16. It only remembers the newer lenses, if your using some old school stuff it won't have a clue.
  17. I think they're cheap knock off of the cactus. look similar. Some china copy called 'iSHOOT'. Wow, let's stick an I in front of everything and make it cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!! call me iMatt from now on. Build quality is quite bad. I'd hate to drop them more than a few times. They'll work til the house is finished and I can get some decent ones, who knows, maybe they're sturdier than they look. p.s. I love strobes Nice shot there Nick! the only thing you'd clone out would be the chairs, and you've got some grass next to them. Put the car on a different layer (I'm assuming it already is) if you don't like the clone you can cut that strip of grass, and paste a few of it over the chairs, maybe tranform the one that youd' need to join the 3 or 4 to help it look natural, and over lap them, and rub out the edges of one part to about 1/3rd opacity. Or you could just try cloning, almost the same thing and easier.
  18. Yo. I'm shooting with a D90! I just threw that pic up cos it was one of the first that popped up when i typed nikon in and I was in a hurry My wireless flash transmitter/receivers arrived today. Had a quick bash tonight. I'm very impressed with how much they help out Got some el cheapo's to test out. Build quality is pretty shite but they work. I think they're line of sight though. Will do some more testing later. Here's a couple from first night. I might even clean the car soon SETUP Interior (Needs work, and a clean interior haha) I'm ready to do some photo shoots on peoples rides now Gotta build that portfolio!

  22. Useful stuff! SO the internet does still contain useful information if you look hard enough. I was beginning to believe it was just for porn and people selling stuff these days. thanks zenon
  23. Matboy is in. Will confirm an extra driver or two next week sometime
  24. Oh, of course you did zenon.... a likely story. Don't think I'm up to that standard yet. Something to keep working towards though I already market myself at the local truckstop... or do you mean something different? ;0 haha
