  1. just found out my mate needs a window motor for his r33.. zymotic.. maybe we can split a 2nd hand door and you take what u need, and he can get the motor??
  2. ok, email the templates through to [email protected], and i'll try and get on it sometime over the next few nights.. think it will help in the adoption of the trading post feature.
  3. Got bored.. the new classifides section I've never really liked in terms of how its laid out on the display page. Always thought it could be done a bit better, so here it is. Think this is much better and everything is a lot clearer, but then again I would say that I've tried to keep it to the same basic theme.. without going over the top with too much graphics or anything like that. Just making it nicer to read. I *could* make it very pretty to look at with further revision, but that raises some other issues in terms of size to download, etc. What do people think? If the admins on here like this can cut it up into HTML and I guess a VBB template that can be used on the site. You'll have to give me a bit of time to learn how the VBB templates work, as I've mainly just worked on phpBB before.
  4. Where can I find one of these tools? From what I can recall, not something you can find readily at your supercheap or repco stores.. thanks..
  5. $300 - $600.. i bought one for $320.. another for $500.. both are in excellent condition.
  6. Customs agent just takes care of clearing the car through customs, meeting quarrantine, totalling all the various taxes and duties payable for you, and basically signing all the basic paperwork to get it off the dock when it arrives. You, or anybody can do that - but as you have to be present, most just use a broker to do this work for them for a few hundred and the time. I assume in that case, that J-spec is doing that for you. Generally there will probably be an extra charge for doing that, unless J-spec is doing this for you as part of their fee. Why not ring them up and ask them?
  7. misfiring.. restrictive exhaust .. flatspot due to running too rich at that point without aftermarket management (how much boost you runing?), boost leak, timing, dirty plugs, slipping clutch (unlikely), stuffed something or other.. as you can tell its a bit hard to tell over the Internet.
  8. You should be right if you just turn up at most places. My friends have had no trouble finding something. Stay clear of the bigger names (budet, delta, etc), as they are usually quite expensive. You may need a credit card for a security deposit, and you need a licence - but otherwise its pretty easy. But for around $40 you can get something reasonable for a day.
  9. wardest is correct.. one day you are going to get absolutely reamed when it comes to something or other. Lets hope you survive.
  10. hey - these even make great outdoor furniture! me and my mates were making use of them the other day in the sun.. work great to recline in with a beer in hand.. So many uses!
  11. i'm going to bump this until i die aren't i??
  12. well they do from what I can see.. inside the actual "drive" (which is actually a star shape) is a half crescent that hooks up to the cam in the correct position, which I assume is the "key".. i think maybe that is where the confusion is?
  13. nice.. well at least its being used for what its for
  14. where is the mule?? i see no mule??
  15. these burn nicely @ 8x too, in a nice unit such as the Pioneer A108 with the "non-official" bios flash this can be obtained here: http://flashman.rpc1.org/Firmware/PIONEER/...R-108/STANDARD/ You'll need the DVDFlash utility as well to write the bios to the drive: HERE -> http://flashman.rpc1.org/Firmware/PIONEER/...RFlash_v2.0.zip
  16. don't worry.. i'll make u feel much better beau I'm just out to have some fun, learn a bit, and have a go against my own times. Will be great to see some awesome cars out their ripping it up though on the day.
  17. I think the new classifides will only become successful once the old system is phased out.. too many people are advertising in the old system (inc. me) because the amount of viewers of threads in the new section is nowhere near as high. If I want to sell something, I've had more success through the "old style" sections recently..
  18. yer, he is right.. it was working I remember a few weeks ago (or last i checked)
  19. if all you want to do is burnouts and be a hoon.. grab a VL.. you'll fit right in..
  20. Can you just stick in a dodgy $5 job wired to the stop lights and then rip it off later on? Or does it have to be some proper ADR approved light?
  21. Well alternator I can quickly check.. S1 rb25det Nissan: 23100 59S01 ..also has a 9/R nearby (revision number?) Hitachi part number is LR180-705B The others, well they're not on the engine yet.. somebody can fill them in for you I'm sure.
  22. u should be able to unplug the odometer bit and transfer it across to the new dash.. failing that just pull it apart and you'll see how it all works and it will make sense.
  23. weird.. the carpark there was always fairly safe and always a heap of through traffic if its the one I'm thinking of. Must have been some idiot if there were that many people walking past, parking, leaving, etc....
  24. just turbo the rB30e.. you can get anywhere from 120-200rwkw .. using parts from the VL turbo and standard bottom end.. many have had great results.
  25. bump - reduced to $250
