  1. ye olde bump stylez Will now take $200 for them..
  2. As long as the wiring you are taking off for your gauge has thick enough wiring for the current it is drawing there should be no problems. Current overdraw is what can cause wires to melt, heat-up or at worse cause a fire.
  3. If you could type in correct english, people might understand what you are saying and be more willing to help. It should be no problem as long as the wiring is thick enough. Many times I have used slightly stronger rating fuses than you're supposed to* when its all I've had available. Usually when there is a short it will blow whatever fuse anyhow, and it will do its job. A few times I've had problems and kept blowing 15a fuses, so ran out of 15a, so had to use 30a.. then the 30a's started popping then I fixed the problem!
  4. no shit ash, thats right on where i'd expect it to be topping out too on calculations Its good for the majority unless you want 300rwkw +
  5. But you may also get charged excess storage fees over in japan next year if it sits there much longer.. p.s. nice mod there PTR33
  6. 1. remove rb20 2. insert rb25 3. stick on big turbo 4. stick on expensive tyres 5. run 12's
  7. yeah.. indeed it is.. but where is the ECU getting that reading? Its obviously somewhere off the engine loom. That is the important question..
  8. but how much more power is it pulling at 15psi rather than 12psi ?? and how long could you push it constantly on a track at flat-chat boost before the exhaust blade separated from the shaft due to excess heat?
  9. you lied!! you said you were never coming back!! actually you broke your own promise
  10. I am happy with my V.2 - been 2 1/2 years now, and still going strong .. chipped and all.. don't think you can install a hard drive in the new ps2 either.. which is a bummer, as that was a useful feature
  11. Maybe the joint he was holding at the time got sucked in one quick motion into the supercharger.. and hence why he was slow to react??
  12. too right Horus Ooch.. what drugs are you on? anybody can go to overclockers and go read those for themselves.. They work, but I'd hardly say they are the bastian of internet trading rules. I reckon the auction process on their with "Instant" and "Reserve" is a bit stupid to be honest. Some are worth taking onboard though.
  13. i need mine done too.. black as night. actually darker than night so I can suck the light right out of the night sky Tint a Car did my R33 a couple of years ago.. they did a really good job, and in VIC we managed to get a group buy of about 10 cars for $250 each. If all else fails I'll use them.
  14. try repco northside (one closest near the airport - the supercenter).. think they're the same as R31.. $2 each or something. Bash out the old, bash in the new.. done.
  15. I'd be interested in the 1/4 time .. that will really show where its at. I might throw mine on a dyno and the drag strip before I pull the engine out... see what it pulls with the basic zorst, cooler, +boost mods. I am curious as to how strong (how long it lasts ) the r32 auto is compared to an r33 box as well...
  16. yeah, the template is broken... don't blame me I didn't touch that one!
  17. wouldn't worry too much ben.. if you can get that engine for $2k and its all ok, you should get at least $1000 for you old engine if you separate it into parts - probably a fair bit more. People are always chasing bits and pieces that most wreckers tell them they have to buy the whole thing. head: $600 coilpacks: $200 ignitor: $80 loom/ecu: $400 (if you don't need these) bottom end: $300 (even if it is dead.. people might want spare stock pistons, etc) etc, etc.. For instance, I need a stock manual flywheel
  18. ran out of ideas.. like every other music genre, movies these days, etc.
  19. yeah, I think the new system has many advantages.. but oh well, looks like its the old system back we go. People will just keep whingeing if its left. No point fixing the current system - don't think anybody even gave a chance to get used to it, or see the future potential minus bugs Just need a few rules like: * no request for pics (if they have them they'll be uploaded) * no bump for 24 (48?) hours * no posting in trader section unless registered for more than 30 days (will stop those that come to post an ad, then never come back, and wanna-be business posts) * some type of basic trader rating And the old ones... etc You could also probably modify the "thread list" to include a thumbnail if available too... just involves some VBB hacking. I guess that was my favourite feature of the new one.
  20. should be a blast.. just need to get the fluid flushed and some nice DOT stuff put in there, and I will be ready to hit the track by wednesday! (yes wednesday ) I will be slowest out there, but not too fussed Will be good practice for when the other car is ready to really mix it out there.
  21. yes.. many people use them.. there are lots of other importers too, especially around sydney or melbourne. Try a search in your particular state. To be honest, I would give up on importing a 15 year car. Most likely the rule will end 1st Jan, 2005, which means you will just get an older car that has to go through the full SEVS compliance and be returned to stock. May as well get a 93 car then. Shipping schedules are also too tight now, so even those who paid for cars are going to be waiting until January, Feburary, maybe even longer to get their car. I paid for mine at the end of July, and its now nearly mid-November and its only just on its way (and I was lucky with the shipping). If you bought today, there would be nearly no chance of getting it shipped anytime before end of january from what I can gather. Wouldn't be onroad until end of Feb.. long wait! Its grim, but think you might have left your charge too late. Unfortunately the price locally has gone up too... keep saving and buy an r33 They're better value at the moment in comparison.
  22. Thanks .. took me hours I thought the m-spec question was actually in the FAQ section by now?
  23. yeah, template is stuffed could fix but I think the tribe has spoken and the new trading post is going to be phased out.
  24. Truly dangermouse, you are the only person ever to have asked that.. might want to ask Penfold the search function..
  25. your car is leaking.. do you have a vented bonnet?
