  1. yeah ..90% done.. should be finalised later today i hope. don't know whether the r31 really "fills the void" though.. lol .. it will get me from a-> b for a while though till the next one.
  2. ...she is going ... *sniff*
  3. For a track car I guess you tune for error.. and there is quite enough there when things heat up on the track. I assume that is why its like that anyhow.
  4. i think YES is the only correct answer
  5. yeah.. who would do that
  6. there were a heap of fresh skiddies of the M1 this morning too i noticed.. somebody is either crashing or having some fun.

    Please Help!

cyrice just picked up my jack b4.. he's on his way to pick up spectrix ramps. Think he is all sorted now.
  8. yumm-i .. looks very track capable and i am sure that is exactly what you built it for great to see the prices laid out there for others to go by in future just as a general guide to know what they are in for 8000 redline huh? should scare a few sr20's with that one. The 25hrs labour was obviously ontop of those prices? :werd:
  9. yes it should be fine.. remember the actual jack load will be less than 1350kg as you are only jacking one, or at most two wheels. The rest of the weight will be distributed to those other points as the car is jacked. You just have to make sure that screw is tight as buggery when you go to jack it up. I also use a supercheap auto jack
  10. didn't u just put it on ?? or your old one?
  11. yeah, i'll have to get it off somebody sometime on CD "must have software for nissan geeks"
  12. sounds like you weren't careful enough with the release screw do have to be careful other you are right. you generally always have problems with the big chunky one on lowered cars, even worse with a bodykit. I have great trouble even getting it under my sideskirts. And front similar story of getting to gearbox cross member due to 400R bar. You can get a special "slim-line jack" which is better suited to our sorts of cars, but can cost a fair amount. I guess you only have to buy one once though and you will always have it.
  13. its an auto.. bit restricted with what options are available.
  14. don't you mean any car with an rb20det ? what sort of boat is it going in anyhow?
  15. happy birthday mate! but it *is* your birthday right?? I should'a had the sense to change my profile to something else
  16. Probably.. I just stole the cliche' because that is what they are for. What else shall it be termed for "those that throw countless money at the car without really knowing the why, or the why should, or why they should spend the money on this rather than that, or what is the most important or... ". Everybody knows the type "my car puts out xxx rwkw, and I just spent $50,000 on this car" - now you ask them what exactly has been done, and why its been done, and they are "ermm.. i dunno really but its FULLY SICK and blows away PORSCHES".
  17. english speak good no.. um, yes too many people talk about rwkw these days when a car is so much more than how much it can put out sitting on a dyno spitting out a peak speed at 9/10 before redline. Lots of the time these seem to also be the posers out there, who spend all the money on the bling - and those that do seem to have a fast car, probably just picked up the car already done from somebody else who spent way too much on paying somebody else to make it fast. I mean there are intelligent chequebook racers, but likewise there are plenty of ****ing dumb ones out there. I know on here (as an example) there are some more of the "originals" that actually like doing hard runs, drifting, mountain runs, track days, legal drag racing, and all the rest that actually use the car to its full ability - that is traction, low-down power, handling, or whatever they think is worthwhile. Not just those driving a dyno graph, but wanting to know how this is going to effect their car where they want to use it. But these I notice on here are becoming increasingly the minority. Funnily enough there are a lot that just like to read but never have attended one of these things in their life - probably because they are too busy doing laps or trying to look "cool" to their mates or the superficial chicks around them. Seems like a lot the time there is quite a few out there with a lot of money and no brain cells also.. but hey
  18. who cares drag racing is much more fun that sitting on ones ass watching a boring game.. man.. a whole days posting condensed into one page, how sad.
  19. try here.. http://darkhalf.r31skylineclub.com/
  20. u need this dunno where its distributed though. http://www.ribloc.com.au/newpipe/series200...000/default.asp
  21. yeah.. i'm there.. i think a few others on here are coming too. Maybe see you there! I'll be happy with 13's
  22. um, that is what we were talking about wasn't it?
  23. looks lot better in the flesh too.. bump.
  24. good work i think its well setup now for the different forums. Too many mods was pointless too The only other idea i had once was for breaking down into car.. r31, r32, r33, r34, etc to encourage a bit more focus on those that have specific questions on their cars. But i am sure this has been suggested I think a few are scared to post on their car (especially simple questions) due to fear of people bagging them, or getting ignored.
