  1. wheel alignment, or one of your tyres or rims is buckled most likely..
  2. You'll be looking at $15k.. If you want 'new' feel and look in a near 15 year old car, you *will* pay a premium... Any less than that, you'll get obvious wear, and/or most of the bushes, brakes, etc will have to be replaced. It won't cost you too much less in the long run probably. I'd pay $20k for an R32 if it had an engine swap and/or big turbo and big HP and decent suspension setup... Will crap over an R33 of the same price.
  3. smash the walbro with a hammer.. and keep the stock GTR pump for the intank, followed by the bosch outside..
  4. zorst, cooler, management, fuel pump, boost control, RB25 turbo, tune.. a r33 stock cooler is a useless upgrade on an r32..
  5. unbelievable.. if the final is anything like the concept, it will make any other skyline look cheap and very outdated.. looks like a true supercar.. and what the guy above me just said
  6. Think I'll leave it to the tuner if there is no easy way.. to buy a gauge will cost more than $50 for them to fit and fiddle with it in my case, the rb20 is coming out in about 3 months, so no point stuffing with injectors or aftermarket ECU.. I just want to try and crack a low 13 on the cheap before the engine comes out..
  7. half cuts.. where the aircon is useless.. and hope it works.. I paid $50 for mine, but usual price seems to be around $100-$200 for them.
  8. I've picked up a Nismo FPR, in an attempt to squeeze another 10% or so out of my rb20 injectors, and hopefully pull around 200-210rwkw with my highflow. Just wondering if there is anyway to adjust it .. without having a proper fuel pressure gauge?? I thought there might have been some markings on there, but doesn't appear to be anything like that unfortunately If not, I guess I will leave it to the tuner to do. Its a 5 minute job.. I am just worried I could get charged $50 for labour to fit it!
  9. I have used Castrol 5.1 stuff.. which has not experienced boiling problems in some small track work (and is only $8 a bottle)...but didn't know about the effect on the seals. Oh well switching to r33 master soon anyhow.
  10. could be the half moons at the rear of the rockers.. also there isn't any oil lines around the back there of the engine or really on the LHS of the engine either.. so it must be a gasket leak.
  11. oo .. php i was too lazy to even do mine in php.. would make the day to day update easier thats forsure. sounds good.. post up the url when done.
  12. I might be able to allocate some more space to people if they are interested actually.. and give ftp access so you can upload/work on your own site in your own area. Its a fast server.. and plenty of bandwidth available. The only thing is I wouldn't be able to allocate a direct domain name (so you could get blahblah.com) without some kind of norminal charge.
  13. should get out there peoples.. don't think anybody has blown their car up on these days and had to get it towed home yet? best fun you can have with pants on... I'll be out there, as long as I can the car tuned etc before then
  14. read my thread.. "changing brake calipers from non mspec to mspec" the process is essentially the same.. and it will show you what you need to remove. sigh, no the photos aren't in there anymore.. i'll put the whole thing up on project32 when i have a spare minute..
  15. those things aren't as great as people make out.. they will spike as well. Maybe its just my car but the turbosmart was exactly the same.
  16. most bleeds spike unfortunately.. that is why people spend the $300+ for an EBC.
  17. new from nissan is buckets.. I bought a 2nd hand one which seems to be in decent condition for $50.. Not sure on the cost of a reco.. Its not the easiest thing to get to, so a workshop will probably charge a couple of hours labour to remove and refit.
  18. thanx.. post it up when u can find it.. my old compressor seized in japan.. so they took the belt off.. now i am working to get the aircon back up again, so need a new belt... and possibly the tensioner bearing too..
  19. like mine... 'cept for r33 ? its a good though when u look back after a few months. Mine's been going ok, get a few visitors having a pop over now and then.
  20. got SO close.. i was at work, thankfully 1 minute around the corner, so when it started looking pretty bad, flew home pretty much sideways and straight into the garage. Just after that it got pretty bad. The people who I work for's car got about 3 dents in the roof, etc - so that could have been mine.
  21. oh from standstill.. I am not sure if thats the best test though? I thought you were talking about a rolling test...
  22. huh? 1000rpm in 3rd gear?
  23. my car is similar-ish .. I'd just go the 17's so you can run with wider width tyres.. 255's on the rear (imo 235 is too narrow for 17's.. going on my old r33). Esp. if you have 9" rears! I know i want 17's purely for this reason (don't care too much about style).. as I am just on the stockers. I am thinking with proper sway bars any tyre flex would become more prominent.
  24. lol.. the mx5 is one of those 'feels fast because its small and buzzy'.. It would probably be quite zippy compared to a stock and heavy r33.. but with a few mods I'd still prefer the skyline.
  25. yup.. i agree on the from 20-25k ..
