Chop, Was looking forward to meeting you at the drive-ins! Soz about the car, they should fix it under warrantee, unless you have put other alloys on or done anything else to your car wheels-related (changed brakes/brake-pad/etc.)... If the car is in the same condition as when you bought it from them... and if they're not a bunch of complete A-holes, they should fix it for you under warrantee. Would say that the brake-disc will need replaced, body-kit aswell by the sounds of it (no amount of 100 mile-an-hour-tape will fix it if it is as bad as you say). They may just fix the brakes/wheel though... and not worry about the kit, since it was the wheel that came off and the kit was just a conciquence (better than nothing i supose)! Keep us all posted... i'm eagar to hear what they say about it! Once again, soz to hear about the car!

LOL i have a jap stereo that won't pick up aus radio stations. i put an 18mhz down-shifting freq.conv. into it so MMM for eg.(105.1) displays as 87.1 on the stereo! the lowest the display on the stereo will go is 76mhz (japanese) which is 94mhz here in AUS. I can't get any radio station that resides below 94Mhz on the FM band! I was asking inark if the 88-84 was aus freq. in which case i can't read it! or whether he was teling me that it was 88-84 in JAP freq.? does this make more sense?

is that 88-84 here in AUS though? so my JAP STEREO will read 70 (due to 18mhz shifter)? the lowest Mhz it will go is 76mhz = 94mhz here in AUS? great... NOW I'M CONFUSED!

is this 84-88 FM band here? or jap fm band? i just checked on my stereo and the lowest it will go is 76mhz... which +18mhz = 94mhz AUS! if it is going to be 84-88 mhz AUS... i either have to replace my stereo for the night... get every1 to turn there's up LOUD... or miss out!

rego should only be about $400. stamp duty is a once off payment and rego should cost about $400/yr.

R32 is something along the lines of ~120kw/t. R33 is heavier, but has MORE POWER! it comes in over 130kw/t! Canberra (on the DOTRS form) say the car is 127kw/t but they use the GTR weight which is heavier due to the gearbox and front drive axle. Sssshhhh, don't tell them that though!

I was pulled over by the wrong cop on the wrong day! At this stage I was driving it around on a UVP (Un-Reg Vehicle Permit). I was going to the garage (my friends) to get my cambelt done and stop a knocking from the engine. The cop prob thought it was BS and stuck me with the ticket! Main reason he pulled me over was no plates on my car due to no-reg at that time. they don't target everyone with an import, but some cops do know what to look for.

My car was an auction grade 4. I got a copy of the auctioneers report and went over it with my agent, and a friend. only 1 tiny dent in drivers door, and a small dent in passenger-side RQP, near bumper! Have to wait until off my Ps to mod the car though! will save $$ in the process:D
