  1. Ran my pretty stock R33 GTSt against a mates mod'd 1200 Bandit for fun. Needless to say he owned me and pulled wheelies in 2nd, 3rd and 4th to prove his point! His bike and rider = ~200kg, with a dyno proven 178 rwhp. Approx. 900hp / t That in skyline terms is about 1200hp + (but at least you have 2 or 4 wheel to put power to the ground)
  2. Chassis stamps according to Doug... (information from various web pages) As far as I can tell an 'N' in the chassis code denotes 4WD. (GT-R and GTS4) 'B' is for the GT-R's (could be used to denote RB26?) 'C' is for Coupes (though I think the 32 and 34 GT-Rs are just BNR3x) 'R3x' Model (R32, R33, R34) SUBJECT TO DICUSSION: First Letter = 'H' Indicates an RB20 (E, DE or DET... see below) some had the following prefix (A=89, B=90, C=91, D=92, E=93) eg. E-HCR32 = 1993 model R32 'E' Indicates an RB25 (DE, DET... see below) Engine Codes according to Doug... (information from various web pages) RB = Engine Series (Race Bread ?Not sure how accurate this info is?) 2x = Engine size 20 = 2.0L 25 = 2.5L 26 = 2.6L D = Double overhead cam E = Electronic Fuel Injection T = Turbo TT = Twin Turbo Engine codes... | RB20E | RB20DE | B20DET | RB25DE | RB25DET | RB26DETT | RB30E | I don't think I've left any out? (Other than the hybrid engines RB20/30 | 25/30 | 26/30) Please, if I am wrong, someone post otherwise! Thus ends the gospel according to Doug
  3. If you are willing to pay the >$50 for freight to Qld then I will send up to you. If you're keen I'll call a few feight companies and sus out the best prices. Drivers side is perfect (beside a bit of glue-tpe stuff from bodykit mouldings). Passenger side has same glue-type stuff and is missing the GT badge. Let me know if you want me to chase up freight costs.
  4. Are you talking about the metal bracket that mounts the headunit into place? If so... the 1/2 cut we got didn't come with a stereo or these mounting brackets. You can get them new from Nissan for about $20-$30 and although they are meant for the Nissan H/U, you can use them to mount aftermarket H/U's without any trouble (Kenwood anyways, you may have to drill a hole or 2 for other brands). Sorry, but I hope this helps.
  5. inner guard liner that goes behind the intercooler (with the fins in it), went on my car... as mine came off while I was travelling down the Eastern and made 1 big hole due to rubbing against the tyre Sorry.
  6. Passenger side is gone, but I think we still have to drivers side. Will check and get back to you ASAP. Do you need to front 1/2 that anchors to the bumper, or the rear half near the door (OR BOTH)? by left, do you mean Drivers or passenger side? LEFT looking at the car, or left from within the car?
  7. Pictures added. Can see the uneven wear I was talking about, and how much tread is left on ALL 4 tyres. Reasonable offers?

    Rb25det Bov

Will call you after Easter and arrange a time to pickup. Thanks
  9. 4 * 265 / 35 / 18 Yokohama Grand Prix M7R No cracks or splits. Good tread on all 4 tyres (3-4mm above indicators), 2 tyres have uneven wear on edge and shouldn't legally be used on the road. Came of a 33 GTR to pass compliance and are now not needed. All 4 = $600 2 usable = $400 Price is ONO, interstate buyers ship at own cost.

    Rb25det Bov

HAVE GOT STOCK BOV NOW! Thanks to all whom replied! Now... anyone got a gasket? for the RB25DET bov to attach to pipe? Cheers,
  11. If you mean the bumper support that bolts to the car just above the chassis rails, then the bumper 'clips' onto it... last I checked they were about $250 new from Nissan! The only thing is you may have to wait for it to come from Japan Have you tried some wreckers? They shouldn't charge you more than new price (though you can never be sure). Also, series 1 / 2 doesn't matter, but it's best to get a S2 bar if you have a S2 bumper and vice-versa. Although the S1 and S2 will fit each other, the 'fit quality' isn't as good. There are also a few different versions of the S1 and the same for the S2, so you might not find one that is the same as your current one, but will still fit non-the-less.

Will take picture and send / post tonight
  14. I'm after a Stock BOV for an R33 (RB25DET) as mine is a little too loud (as far as I'm concerned). I live in Eastern suburbs, Melbourne, VIC. Can swap for mine (don't know the brand), or will pay cash... don't want to pay an armand a leg though.
  15. What is included? Calipers? Pads? Rotors? Lines? Master Cyclinder? Fluid Res.? Cheers
  16. Thanks peoples I thought I'd get laughed at... of well I guess people actually care! I've only got 2 child anchorages in the back of my R33... am I meant to have 3? Does the 3rd one really matter? geez, I'd love to spend $600 on a recaro baby seat, but bottom line is, i'd be the most expensive thing in my car and something else to go missing the next time it gets broken into Plus, I really don't think the kid is going to mind whether or not it is sitting in a plush recaro seat, or a 'yum cha' equivalent (please note: I'm NOT being racist... I first heard that expresion of an asian friend of mine!) The only thing a recaro seat is going to do that a fisher price seat won't is REALLY hurt my bank account! Thanks for all the input once again!
  17. In anywhere between 2-4 weeks I'm going to be a dad (like baby's ever come on time anyway). I have an R33 GTS25t and was wondering if a baby seat / newborn capsule will fit in it, as they are a 4 seater and I thought the capsules / seats had to go in the middle??? BEFORE anyones asks... yes I do have the child seat restraint bolt things in the rear parcel shelf. Do I need any special brackets, etc, to mount the seat / capsule on the side rather than the middle? Are the any laws prohibiting me from putting the seat / capsule on the side? LASTLY: Has anyone got / had a good capsule / seat that they have had fitted to their skyline and can recommend? Thanks for all the helps peoples... I'll await the abundance of replíes

    Manual Conversion

I can do it for ya with a mate of mine! Still have just about all the bits you need left over from a R33 1/2 cut! We can do the conversion and you can pay me in body kit and $$$ adjustment let us know what you think... Doug
  19. Black front bar... pref. R33 GTSt S2 or R33 GTR to fit GTSt? Thanks
  20. I take it it's just a single kit... not the 2x GTR version?
  21. I have a set, w/ Bridgestone Potenza RE101's (I think that's the tyres anyway). Tread is LOW (about 1mm from the wear indicator). I live in Doncaster / Templestowe (Eastern Suburbs)... interested? e-mail me and we can work out a price!
  22. 71LLA, This might seem like a wierd suggestion... but why don't you keep the car and get rid of the wife? My old man faces this problem everyday, he's in NZ right now with the old lady... hopefully he leaves her there Nice car, and for $36,000 + warranty I can't believe it hasn't been sold yet. Heaven knows if I wasn't just about to raise a family for myself (g/f is 28 weeks pregnant), I'd buy it off you in a heart-beat!
  23. justinfox... you don't have to have all the wheels the same size, as long as the rolling radius is the same. Alot of people have experienced problems with their ATESSA by not having the the wheels the same (rolling radius). you can have rims that are smaller, and tyre walls that are larger, etc. But this is a REAL hassle to arrange, so it's best if you keep tham all the same size. For your interest here is something I found a while back... http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html This lets you try different combinations of tyres / rims and gives you the rolling radius, when compared to stock rims it will tell you if your speedo is going to be out and by what percentage. This also shows that no 2 combinations are identicle, unless you want to put something like 185/60/15 on your GTR (which won't even fit around the brakes!). After this, as zRoyz states, you then have to take the cars setup and balance into consideration, and this is where the offsets are important. There's more to fitting new rims than 'these ones are nice'. Good luck with the sale zRoyz, these rims look great. A mate of mine DJR33 put a set on his car a few months back!

    Panel Beaters

What ever you do, don't go to a certain panel beaters on Molan St in Ringwood (there are about 3-4 on Molan St - PM me if you want the name of the one I'm talking about). I got a $6,000 quote for a repair, then took my car to a trusted (had work done there before) garage and they quoted me $3,500 for it! There is a good PBeaters... Symes (on Blackburn Rd, cnr Kind St). I bit more expensive (couple of hundred), but they do a GREAT job. Prob, a bit far from Glen Wav. though (~ 30-40 mins)
  25. I have decided to go with the ol'1/2 cut as I have a buyer for the engine (and maybe g/box). Stay tuned I may need some other parts when the 1/2 cut arrives Thanks for everyones help so far, you've all been great.
