my car is not tuned at all, basically stock and gets around 400-450 km per tank... I have a dodgy gauge though, so this is a 'safe' figure that won't see me walking to the servo for more petrol

2 things... Nearly cut my left index finger off when I was 7... lifting the lid on the cat food can When I was 15, a mate and I were turning a BMX into a 'motor-bike' by adding a lawn mower engine to it. I was the test pilot for the first run and we checked everything 4 times, but somehow forgot to tighten the handle-bars I hit a gravel patch and lost the front end... the bars went forward, the throttle stuck open and I got dragged 15-20m grating skin on gravel and cyclone-fencing... DOWN TO THE BONE I pick myself off the ground and walked to the tap in the park, cleaned the wound, then walked a km back to mates house! his mum went and got some savlon and bandages and patched my up... no doctors required ! can anyone say GIFTED ???

I see a maroon s1 r33 parked at the Melb Uni carpark (new one). Don't know if he's a member, but he seemed pretty snobby. You know how you drive down the street and everyone else in a Skyline waves at you, even if you have no idea who they are... it's like s ecret society. Cabbies may be worst in Sydney... but here in Melb they run a close second to CAMRY drivers ! 1. CAMRY SPORTIVO 2. CAMRY (any kind) 3. CABBIE's 4. Toorak Tractors (Suburban 4x4... Toorak = posh Melb suburb) 5. Every man and his dog that pulls up next to you at the lights want's to drag ! I agree... it is good start, but will it be an ongoing thing or 'shock tactics' to 'scare' other cabbie's into complying. Director of Holden once said that they don't do a 'cab' special, they make the cop cars and don't have 'taxi yellow' a factory color. Forcing cabbies to buy the car then get it re-spray'd. He said that that's not the image they want to promote (holdens = taxi's), and I don't blame them! Most cabbies drive there cars into the ground and buy another a year later and write it off on tax! If I'm ever in a cab i'll only give the driver more than what's on the meter based on the clenliness of the vehicle (inside and out), whether or not they speak english and come hold a conversation (2 entirely different things), how many times I think I'm going to die (less is better), and the amount of swearing / cursing he / she does (based on my mood less is better / more is better).

I heard from a Targa Competitor that all the rules were changing around enxt year the Porsche's may not be eligible to compete... or they were going to do a 'Porsche Cup' type thing! As it stands now there are heaps of restrictions on what you can and can't modify in the cars, so it makes sense to spend $300k+ on a porsche and race it 'stock' rather than try the same in a GTR... that's why they're thinking on changing the format NOTE: This is what I've heard... may not be correct, just thought I'd add my 2c

I had an old FORD PROBE act like a nob while I was coming home from work one night. Last Tuesday actually, I was on the Eastern (outbound) and there was nothing in my rear-view... 2 seconds later I was getting high-beam'd for going 105km/h ! Anyways, I slowed down to 90km/h in the hopes he'd get the massage andchange lanes (all other lanes were empty), but alas he wasn't the brightest crayon in the box. I then moved 1 lane to my left and let him pass (still doing 90). he slowed beside me and started yelling, so I broke to 60km/h. He then made a comment (that I don't think should be repeated on the forums) and sped off! Naturally I jammed it in 2nd and tore off after him, slipped it into 3rd and he swerved infront of me to stop me from passing! So I swerved too and gunned every gear until factory management kicked in (hate the speed governor)... all the time his p!ssy )... but when you get loser f@ggots that just want to stir you up because they don't work, and can't afford a nice car then they can eat my d!ck! *leaves desk and seeks councilling due the morons on the road*

why don't people post comments along the lines of... "Saw this sweet STOCK black R33 last night in eastern suburbs... does anyone here own it?" At least then I can probably say... "same car as mine, but wasn't me" (due the fact I work stupid hours, but hey, you have to MOD!)
