  1. No body pick up on the infiniti badging?
  2. I have avant garde m310 which are very similar to the 530 you have listed went with 20s in the staggered option got 8.5" +30 in the front and 10" +40 in the rear painted in dolphin grey from ozzy tyres, tyre wise 245/35 fr and 275/30 rear. Go staggered the extra width allows a much better launch, reducing wheel spin considerably.... if I had my time again would go a less aggressive offset in the rear maybe +45 and get a 285/30 tyre in there which would have almost identical rolling diameters front to back and slightly more sidewall. As for ozzy tyres, good luck. First set they sent me was drilled in the wrong stud pattern second, second set the painter hadn't applied a primer and now the paints flaking... Just waiting for a time where I can get them powder coated.
  3. I requested the uprev lic be aquirred for my vehicle prior to the dyno runs to allow the removal of the limiter which for reference was reached in 4th in the low 6000rpms (first run before limiter removal. I raised the question when I was informed that the run was undertaken in 4th "why it wasn't performed in the 1:1 gear (5th on the 7sp)." The tuners response was the power that is made by the car isnt dependent on the gear, rather the gears determine what rpm that power gets put down in... For example the peak power remains the same in all gears it's just seen earlier in the rpm band in lower gears. Now this is just my understanding (not nessarilly correct), so jump in with any corrections. Now torque on the other hand I would assume is a different subject?
  4. Will do, my intention is to keep continuity with dynos. I will shortly be adding some: Fast Intentions HFCs, Motordyne M370 intake and Cash flow dependent the Takeka CAI Then dyno, retune an report back. On a side note: I was having a chat with the tuner today and he said that the ecu learnt very quick eg: he did 6 runs the first 4 ran rich AFR then leaned out in the last two without any input from his end.
  5. So thought I would get a baseline done on my V36. Vehicle is stock in the way of performance mods. Car year: 2012 Millage: 20,500km Trans: 7sp auto Fuel: 98 octane fuel Temp: 26-28 degrees with low humidity (perth summer) Dyno: dynapac (hub dyno) Power: 220kW at 6600rpm Torque: 340Nm at 4600rpm I feel that these are unusually high numbers thoughts?
  6. So thought I would get a baseline done on my 2012 370GT (auto sedan) just clicked over 20,000km. Vehicle is stock in the way of performance mods. Fuel: 98 octane fuel 26-28 degrees with low humidity (perth summer)
  7. Yeh can't complain it is almost exactly the same as my old Lib GT (2.5L turbo) but I spose they were both putting down similar kWs....
  8. Ditto on the oil filters see if you have any dirt build up etc. My 2012 V36 gets average 10-11L/100km 60/40 (City/Hwy) and drops down to approx 9/100km on long haul country (110km/hr) trips... But that's just the 7 speed working its magic. Good luck!
  9. It is my understanding that the only G37 Infiniti's that would come from factory with a square set up would be the X model on the account that AWD vehicles need to run the same tire size, could be wrong but that the impression I got...
  10. Hi just wondering if anybody has looked into swapping in the 370z Nissan OEM BBK on a V36? Any info would be much appreciated.
  11. I must say his work is quality, he did mine a few months ago.....
  12. Gee dog: Have you installed the BBK yet, if so how do you like it aesthetically and performance wise? Nightcrawler: Thanks for the heads up, is it a $1000 max per item or combined value? Colin: Will have to go for a spin in yours and see/hear the Stillen unit in action! Thanks for the comments guys!
  13. So I have just booked a holiday to the US (California) for early next year and thought I should do a little part shopping for my 2012 V37 SP sedan, but would like opinions on what everybody thinks would be the best purchases my criteria is combined weight not to exceed 30kg (baggage allowance) and max budget USD$1700 thoughts of potential purchases so far (not all but a combination)..... - Stillen or Takeda CAI - Fast Intentions Resonated HFC - Motordyne M370 manifold - Alkebono BBK - AutoKitsX diffuser And the Car is dropped on Swifts already... All opinions welcome!
  14. Yep, top bloke and seamless finish. They require a little modding if you what a ring around the inner indicator but nothin Leo couldn't handle!
  15. Hi Marvin Had mine modified, sent you a PM with the details.
  16. I belive compliance is available for V36's manufactured up untill December 2012, from then Infiniti has retain sale rights within Australia, I don't believe the G37 was ever offered in Aus (may be wrong). This was an October 2012 so just snuck in with arround 10,000km it feels like its just rolled out of the show room, couldn't be happier!
  17. Thanks guys, she's a work in progress might start a tread... Wheels are next!
  18. Picture post fail, hopefully this works....
  19. So finally received my 2012 V36, I must say very impressed with the overall feel of the vehicle, smooth yet enough kick to keep you entertained. Had the headlight chrome painted satin black leaving the shrouds chrome and twin CCFL rings installed while they were open. Also installed some swift springs which I must say retain almost all OEM ride quality while providing a subtle drop. Here is a front shot, will post some before and after drop shots if anyone is interested....
  20. My previous car was a black Liberty GT but living in Perth with our hot summers I specifically wanted a lighter vehicle and ended up purchasing a white V36. I have to admit the liberty was an awesome car in black obsidian but man it was a pain to keep clean especially in our dryer months and after only a few days not parked under cover (at work) you noticed the dust/dirt build up so much so that to maintain the nice black look it almost required a bi-weekly clean (which I did not have the time for). Then the peak of summer hits and you quickly realise that your car is pretty much an oven on wheels, the leather needs ongoing maintenance to ensure it remains in good condition.I found getting good quality black wax and detailing spray the clean look remained for longer, but be prepared to notice every single little dent/imperfection. Its saving grace was it had a sun roof which I would leave ajar if parking to let the heat vent and would open fully when jumping back in after any time parked in the sun. Did I like the look of the car, yes but would I do it again probably not.... However I might consider a dark blue if I was going across to the dark side again, just my 2 cents. Happy car hunting! This was the Liberty.....
  21. Yes they are sticker overlays just waiting on the final product which i am told will be done in UV resistant plastic and are likely going to come with symbols for the voice and back buttons. Once I get the final ones sent and installed will post a properly taken macro shot to show as much detail as possible. This may not be to everybody's taste but personally they serve their purpose and don't look tacky in the flesh. Each to their own.
