best advice anyone can give you is to get some driving lessons. but it all depends on your own skill. ive been driving since i was 14 and i didnt get any lessons before i went for my p's. it all depends on you and your ability, but not knowing you i'd definately say get some lessons in manual.

seeing as though noones replied ill just tell you what i do. 1. make sure the car isnt too hot so you dont burn yourself if you come into contact with it. and make sure its off!!! 2. undo your radiator cap. 3. there will be a screw on the right hand side of the bottom of the radiator (looking at the engine bay). undo that, make sure you dont lose the rubber washer between the screw and the radiator. this will make all of the water rush out. WATCH OUT, IT WILL COME OUT PRETTY HARD. 4. put the screw back in, then fill up with clean tap water then put the rad cap back on. 5. run your car for around 1min. then turn it off. 6. repeat steps 2-5 till the water comes out clean when its being drained. i use the nulon coolant that you have to mix yourself. i use a 50/50 mixture of distilled water/coolant. hope that helps.

i know it wont shift it into second, thats now what i was saying. the problem is the car getting stuck in first, so what i do is push the snow button and it shifts into 2nd. and it doesn't get stuck in power mode as even in power mode it will change gears but only a little higher than normal or untill you back off a little with the accelerator. when the gears get stuck it will stay in the gear untill you either rev it out till around 5000, or in my case push the power button.

im not sure if they do the same thing mate. ive got a snow button, power button and an a/t button. when my gear gets stuck i just push the snow button and it goes into 2nd no matter what rev im at. if im at the lights and ive got the snow button on it'll start in 2nd.

i wish my car was running! im gonna give this one a miss.

what kind of boost are you running? one thing you can try is revving your car by pulling the throttle cable while its idling and seeing if any oil comes out. if heaps of oil comes out then you've got a problem. if its really little then it might be blow by. blow by is when air and moisture is forced past your rings into your crank case. on higher boost it'll usually force oil in there too.

tommyk im going to keep the auto. maybe get a shift kit in. while the motor is out im going to get the box inspected to see if any parts need swaping, but shes still going strong. my first run was pretty crap, i didnt get to start off as well as i would've liked. i got a 14.0. my second run was a 14.3 with blue smoke coming out of my engine, and it running on 5cyl. i'm going with a rebuild guys. wish me luck hey!

i took my spark plug out of my #6 piston and ive got a nice puddle of oil sitting in there. im 100% sure its something in the head.
