  1. looks like one of the ca18/sr20 dump pipes so im going to infer that its a t28, journal bearing off either an s13 or an s14, more likely an s13. vl's have the same turbo setup as skylines.
  2. they're standard replacement pistons so theyre exactly the same size as standard RB30 standard pistons except stronger. they use the standard nissan rings which arent supplied.
  3. I've got my F&M cast pistons up for sale. Theyre a direct replacement for your standard RB30DE pistons and are stronger than stock. If you plan to do a standard build its worth throwing these in for a bit of extra piece of mind. They come with gudgeon pins. Reason for sale: I went with forged pistons instead. Location: Sydney I'm after $300 + postage. Send me a PM or reply here. Cheers, Joe
  4. pics are up boys and girls
  5. pics pics pics pics pics!
  6. ive got someone who said they will come and see it on monday or tuesday, i'll let you all know if the sale doesnt go through
  7. definitely agree with you there but you've got to love the effectiveness of it - its absolutely necessary these days if you want a street driven modified sports car. the sound difference is very noticeable with this on, i wish i could keep it.
  8. sydney west nah mate it had standard injectors. to boost it up to 18psi you wont need much work - just turn up the boost lol. either way i wouldnt do more than what i said in my first post without getting on a dyno and checking that your AFR's are ok. read my first post mate, all the info is there. its not a tuneable computer hence the reason why its so cheap. you just plug it in and off you go. if you wanted to tune it you'd strap a emanage blue or ultimate to it and you'll be sweet. it will still cost you less than getting a full aftermarket computer if you wanted to go bigger injectors etc etc later on.
  9. not sure on an actual figure mate but i would estimate around 210-215kw when i was running around 10psi, i cant comment on 15psi as i wasnt getting traction at all but it felt awesome. believe me, if you had this in your car you would be confused as to why these things are going for so cheap!
  10. thats the one in the picture, i'll upload some pics of it tomorrow. its 3", or just a bit over.
  11. I've got my EEE PC up for sale, I bought it for $550 brand new and was going to use it for tuning but ended up going for a carputer instead. All info can be found here: http://eeepc.asus.com/global/product901.html?n=0 Its had minimal use. Im after $400 + postage, I've got the original box and receipt too. PM or post here. Cheers, Joe
  12. I've got my mines chipped ECU for sale which i used in my AUTO - this will suit both manual and auto series 1 r33's, im not sure if it works on series 2. Specs are: - Removed rev limiter - Richer maps to handle hiflow turbo + breathing mods + ~15psi boost. AFR's were at 11.8-12 on boost and ~15.1 AFR cruising. - Annoying boost cut/r&r removed. I'd log a 5.1v @ 4500rpm and it wouldnt even hesitate to rev. - would give me 460km to the tank +/-30km depending on how i drove. Im after $300 + post. by far the BEST bang for your buck mod - you'll notice the power difference instantly even on a standard setup. I can be contacted via PM or post here. Pics will be up soon. Cheers, Joe
  13. all pm's replied
  14. race it. you're only doing what people do in their corollas. get it out on a track and get your heart racing - thats what it was meant for.
  15. I've got my ECV up for sale. Its in good condition, I only used it for around a week. It was pretty cool driving past cops and closing the valve - put yourself at ease! Pick-up in Sydney is preferred but I will post at the buyer's expense. Im after $180. Post here or send me a PM. Cheers, Joe
  16. Happy Birthday mate
  17. the thing i find with the WRX boxes blowing up is when they're given a heavy duty clutch - pretty much 100% of my mates who've installed a HD clutch after their standard one has died have ended up with dead boxes or rear diff. my mate who has installed a standard diff into his rs turbo (not a wrx but they have much weaker boxes anyway) hasnt had any dramas. but yea - i wouldnt trade a skyline for a WRX unless it was a MY02. the turning circle is alot better and they feel stronger all round... still a gay 4wd though.
  18. im just not interested in having vents in my bonnet, not even the vent over my air filter because it will still cause my car to suck up water, maybe just a single small vent in the back corner but i dont really like that idea either. i want the car to be practical too. im also trying to rip as much weight off the car as possible, when the CF bonnet comes it will be sprayed the same colour as the car so it wont stand out as CF - im a bit over all of the showey mods, i just want something lighter. i've ripped around 50-60kg off the car already, another 10-15kg off the front would be good.
  19. glad it worked out for you boys. what happens is if the crank case cant ventilate then it will blow out of several places - through your rings, through your turbo's oil seal ring since the oil drains directly into the crank and worse case is you start to blow things like your rear main seal and front crank seal - it has the capability of causing a huge mess. like i told you in PM gotRICE - you can still use the RIPS catch can just dont block off the PCV.
  20. but whats he going to spend compared to an original turbo? say he gets $4000 for his (there are P platers who would buy a n/a skyline for that much), i know for a fact there are clean r33 gtst's going for around 7k standard. dont forget you need the bigger injectors, ECU, exhaust, turbo, manifold, intercooler, fuel pump, brakes, wheels/tyres to fit new 5-stud hubs. looks like more then $5000 worth of parts just to make it go like a stock turbo r33. double that if you want to buy the good stuff like bigger turbo, fmic, 3" turboback, big injectors, aftermarket ecu, fuel pump, manifold bla bla bla... and you'll need to lower compression in the motor somehow to take any more than 5psi. oh.. and the valve springs in the n/a head are alot softer - you'll need to upgrade those too.
  21. n/a r33's come with 4 stud hubs and smaller brakes - you'll need to convert that too if you're going to do some harder acceleration. and you still wont get jack for the car if you try to sell it. think about this... you wont get what you want for your car - but r33 gtst's are going for alot cheaper than you think. the loss you make on your car will make up for the amount you pay for your next. they're going for peanuts these days.
  22. they do! but i dont think id buy anything from them again.
  23. that was me dude.. on my way to the gym. its a gtst with a veilside rear bar. i spotted a grey or black r33 gtst and a white r34 gtt that night too.
  24. thats the one, autosport engineering! i couldnt be stuffed googl'ing
