Hmmm.... Yeah... This is on R33 Gtst. I tried to rewire the bleed valve my car came with and hook up the stock solenoid as a fuel consuption experiment. I hooked up everything to the solenoid and went for a drive. There was no wastegate at all The boost just went through the roof. I tried swapping the hoses on the solenoid but to no avail. This is a diagram of how I did it. ___ | |-- | | --> to wastegate | |-- | | | | | | | |-- | | --> -------T-------- --> (cant remember) | |-- | | | | | | | --> (cant remember) | | |___| Where it says (cant remember) on the diagram: * One is where the bleed valve is hooked up at the moment * Another is blocked off at the moment. I am at work so I cant check any ideas straight away. Does this sound like the solenoid is gone? Makes sense to me. If the outlet is blocked off then the wastegate would get whatever pressure is in the hose (athmospheric most likely) and will keep boosting. Can I take it apart and fix it?

Ditto. There have been waaaaay too many threads recently that are simply rice. Like for example 10 threads a week in the Forced induction section about atmo blow-off valves and how to do whoop-di-di-doo-pssssh (flutter). PLus there are all sorts of threads about LED taillights, neons, etc etc. I reckon it will be heaps funny to read the rice forums. "Omah, how do I connect blu led lite 2 my ign switch? PLZ HLP OH NOES!!!"

I think there is a difference in sound. The sound is affected by the weight of the exhaust, so since the Ti is lighter the sound is bigger.
