  1. There is a stack of threads about this on GTPlanet. From What I understand you need to "drag the pack" as you have. Also the trick is not to let the car behind you ram you when they slingshot using your slipstream.
  2. This thread is cursed. It keeps floating up although the last post has been over half a year ago... some voodoo...
  3. Mwuha. I actually think they are more in love with their 31's then with each other.
  4. And if you happen to chat to the nice blokes at EPA you will probably end up with a $5000 fine. Go to an exhaust place and get them to check it out.
  5. Paper towel with a bit of metho. Does wonders for indside windows.
  6. Oh not another one.... I m so out of money these days.... Need to get my g/f a pressie for birthday. Going to get a skid pan day at EC for her and myself. The plan is: L2S after that and track days for the rest of the year.
  7. Very cool pics, dude. I like photographing cars myself though.
  8. I think its a big money grab. IMHO there is no reason they did that. It will not improve traffic in any way during the night. Even if it does bank it's because of the Rocks.
  9. Good luck
  10. Can someone close these threads and make a closed sticky: YES MOANIE IS IN THE SPEED MAGAZINE.
  11. Not bad not bad...
  12. As some of you might be aware, the parking in the above mentioned street has been changed from 10P(6AM-10PM) ticket to 10P(6AM-10PM) ticket/NO PARKING (10 PM - 6AM). In another words before you needed to pay before 10 at night and after was free. Now it becomes NO PARKING after 10. I got caught out in this and came back to the car at 10:54 to catch the parking officer (one of about 8) finishing writing the ticket. He was abrupt to start with but then explained that the parking signs have changed and said something along the lines: "I realise we are targeting the wrong people. This change was made to get rid of boys in hotted up WRXs hanging out here. I realise that you probably came here for a dinner and nice night out. Sorry mate". I got told that Cydney City Council have been on ABC Radio talking calls about this and that if you got a fine in this area they will waive it for you if you write to them. They will also reimburse if you already paid. I havent written to them yet. Will do it shortly and update this thread. Just thought I ll give you heads up.
  13. One bloke at work. He is new and i m teaching him a bit of c++/java. He is looking at the line of code and he made a comment next to it: while(something) { .... if (count < 32000) count <<=1; //OMFG wot is this? ... } And I m like ... "yeah... too much foum talk for you buddy".
  14. Well that's what generally happens in the "Let's bag out the bad english of other people" threads. Everyone shows off their grammar and spelling.
  15. Totally agree. Spellchecker could be a good idea. Should probably make it into the rules. Mods should discount member points for habitual grammar abuse.
  16. Knitpicking hey? Once I was a carpark.... lalalalala...
  17. Just witnessed another one today. Not so funny and potentially more dangerous. I was a carpark this morning. Heard the screeching tyres and looked up. Outside, just at the intersection I saw a van with locked up rears going diagonally towards the curb (on the side he was driveng). Then the van did a MAAAAAAD 180 and ended up facing the wrong way. Just where he ended up was a couple on the sidewalk and they were understandibly scared. The driver of the van looked like a ferral yobo and I could see he was angry for some reason. I was walking next to a bloke and he's like "Gotta be drunk". As I kept walking the couple caught up to me. The bloke said that he had no idea what happened. The van just locked up the wheels and went nuts. As much as I reckon the van driver is the biggest tool, endagering everyone else, it was a good 180, especially from the van.
  18. Fully sik. Might see me doing burnouts in the pits.
  19. Have you got a CAMS license Richard? Ive only got the SAU membership, that's not enough, is it? Pretty sure about that. Need to revisit the VERY CONFUSING THREAD ABOUT SAU CAMS ASSOCIATION AND WHAT IT MEANS. Might get off my bum and get myself ... hold on ... L2S is level above L2NS. So there is no chance I can do it within a month.... Confused. Oh well, i ll come up to have a look.
  20. Just don't forget to put the oil in this time
  21. My girlfriend called me today to tell about this goose. So funny. For those who know it happened on the left turn onto Castle Hill Road from Old Northern Road. On the right side of the shoulder there is a grass strip that is about a metre wide. This guy in the commodore with chromes and custom number plate must have gone too fast and ended up on the grass. Now for the funny part - the strip is narrow enough to fit between the wheels and high enough to keep all four off the ground. LoL So he is sitting there and revving the crap out of it to no avail. Priceless.
  22. From memory: Day - hmmmm October 12 or so Completion - 3.7 % Licenses - 77 Gold 3 Bronze Cars - 20
  23. I swear the chick that was talking about the A-class merc is the one that did the voice over the license tests in GT Prologue.
  24. A UK car show's host had a go playing GT4 against KY. What a fool. The show is available for download (torrent) from: www.finalgear.com Havent seen it yet, will download tonight. This is all legal by the way. EDIT: Misspelled Kazunori Yamaguchi in the title... oh well..
  25. Congrats on getting more cars back. I agree with Silver, seems strange that cars are found through annonymous calls (same as in SXYR34), allegedly from the thieves.
