  1. Got the 1990's nismo look going down. Added the nismo boss, blue letter wheel and horn button Nismo carbon frame. Really nice piece. Elegant look.
  2. Added a few little items today. I put the nismo steering boss, steering wheel and horn button on. Now my hicas light comes on after a few minutes of driving. My steering wheel is straight though when driving. Not sure what that is all about. Could maybe just be one spline off? Is the Hicas sensor that damn sensitive? I will be deleting hicas eventually anyways, but the light just annoys me. I would rather fix it the right way if possible. Any ways, on to the pics. Interior is starting to look 1990's nismo. Got another item on the way that should set it off and pretty much complete my interior I feel. Nismo carbon license plate frame OEM dead pedal option
  3. I get so many complements on them. They just look so beastly. Perfect sizes and tire. Even people that are not into cars are like, that thing looks like it means business lol.
  4. dude its pretty obvious that Altia N1 racing wheels made the wheels. They are not a genuine nissan part. N1 is part of the companies name......not some special edition N1 skyline model lol. My god. You just have a Altia N1 racing wheel that are probably slightly better than the stock nissan. But no one cares because its 16x8. It's really nothing special at all. It's just an off the shelf option. Who buys aftermarket wheels that are the same as the damn stock ones? No one. Rarity is not always a good thing. They are rare because stupid. There is also rare because ugly. Like most of the veilside catalogue lol. How in the hell you have convinced yourself that you have some special nissan few hundred made lightweight r32 N1 wheel is beyond me. This is why humans fail, we are gullible......quit trying so hard and go buy some 17 or 18's that fit better than those sunken battle ship junkers.
  5. I may have to drive to houston lol. Mine does the same thing. Although I don't think its terrible yet. But it does definitely leak.
  6. my rear window squirter would squirt when I would hammer down on the skinny pedal. It's like the sloshing would have enough force to squirt out of the nozzle. I just unplugged the line to the actual squirter and stuffed a bolt into the line. Was tired of having a money shot across my rear window all the time. I removed the wiper so I couldn't wipe it off while driving. Eventually I'll just remove the whole system and plug the holes in the glass.
  7. Took a picture of all my wheels today as I think I'm going to try and part ways with some of them. Could use the extra space and could also put that money towards things I actually need rather than some garage ornament lol. I'm getting the GTR close to a "fun" stopping point so I can focus again on my 240. (built rb25, full-race turbo kit, gt3582r twinscroll t4 1.06 housing etc). It has been a never ending build since I was a teenager lol. It's just time to get it done and have two running vehicles. I wish I could find a JUN hood for the R32 to match the 240sx. It's the best looking hood in my opinion.
  8. The 10 and 13 row are for the fender. The 16 row is in front of radiator. I just ordered a 13 row my self.
  9. Nothing to crazy. Just some little tid bits. Nismo license plate frame. Dry carbon with a clear coat finish. Cool key chain. Was going to use it....but its to nice and kind of heavy. I'll just keep it in the box. Old skool registration paper carrier. I believe it's from the late 70's or sometime in the 80's. Great shape.
  10. Ok another update. Did a slight fender roll, didn't even have to roll them completely. Fits like a glove now. No rubbing at all. Also we put the exhaust on. We didn't do the turbo dumps because it was a little more involved than we had planned. So we just did the the fronts pipes on back. Midori Seibi is incredible. Fits like a glove. Looks amazing, sounds amazing. I can't describe it. The front pipes really open up the exhaust. Can hear the turbos spool very well now. Definitely notice a power boost. Feels really good. The sound is so clean and crisp. It's just.....yea. Midori Seibi 90mm full titanium exhaust setup.
  11. Skyline model = R32 GTR Wheel diameter = 17 Wheel width =9 Wheel offset =+22 TE37 Tyre size =255/40/17 nankang ultra sport NS II Modifications to fit = none rear: front: kind of sunk in *Looks 10x better than above setup. Skyline model = R32 GTR Wheel diameter = 18 Wheel width =9.5 Wheel offset =+12 Advan RG Tyre size =265/35/18 Advan AD08R Modifications to fit = light fender roll. Just the lips, nothing more. A few degrees of camber could also maybe fix the problem. I am not sure of my current specs. Front: Rear: Perfectly flush
  12. Not sure on the spring rates. Whatever HKS hipermax II came with I'm assuming. They are decently stiff when driving. The rears are not close really, you just need to roll the inner lip a bit. The lip sticks in, where as the wheels are inline with the actual surface of the quarter panel. They rub on hard cornering and bouncy areas of road. All 4 corners rub on bouncy areas. I'll look at it more tomorrow, was getting to dark. Should be fine with basic fender roll. I think that is actually how they were designed to be put on. Unless you want a 4x4 GTR. I am also not sure on my alignment specs. I'm sure a degree or two of camber would probably clear them as well. But as soon as I put them on....you just got that feeling like "oh yea, these are the ones" lol.
  13. I havent even begun yet guys lol. Some of this stuff I've had for years just laying around. This was my plan, to make my own nismo GTR. But with better parts in some areas where nismo is lacking. Also keep in mind, I've only physically had the car for less than 2 weeks. Ok since we were discussing wheels, this will seem fitting lol. Advan AD08R 265/35/18 Advan RG original. 18x9.5 +12. I now know why they called these GTR sizes. They are PERFECT. Slight fender roll needed. More like a massage. Car still up in the air One side on, back on the ground. Looks WAAAAY better and more aggressive. Here is the side with 17x9 +22 TE37 with 255/40/17 nankang ultra sport NS-II for comparison. Back shot of TE37 Front of TE37, you can see they are slightly sunk in Rear of the Advan RG, perfectly flush, needs a fender roll Front of RG, you can see it pokes where the TE37 were sunken battleship status. I am a huge Advan fan. They just look better than so many other manufacturers. The quality is great. I am still not that impressed with rays or volk. They are quality, but even looking at these TE37 they don't stand out much. There is no attraction. My second set of advans and I am equally impressed. Just my opinion.
  14. Ironically enough the first wheels I bought were factory r32 gtr wheels lol about 10 years ago. Still have them. Then I bought bigger brakes, which means they no longer fit lol. So then I bought some super advan racing ver 2 in metallic blue. Unboxing those after a 6 month wait was awesome. They look way better in person than in pics. I have had a lot of people say that now that they have seen them in person, it's one of the coolest wheels they have ever seen. It's certainly one of my favorites. I like a lot of advan stuff though.
  15. Not trying to be snobby. But I would never buy rotas. I like the real stuff, plus they look like cheap junk compared to real wheels. But I am a bit of a wheel whore. That's just my opinion. Once you are used to a certain quality, its hard to down grade. Probably the same reason I have never bought a stainless steel exhaust lol. First exhaust I ever bought was titanium...... never looked back lol.
  16. ahhhh the Bee R B5 is on my wish list. Always wanted a set. 18x9.5 +25. I've had this link bookmarked for years lol. http://www.bee-r.com/main/parts/wheel/index.htm meh to meisters. They played out. Same with professors. Just my opinion.
  17. Nah, cant decide if I like them. Never really been a fan of nismo wheels. Maybe 18x10 +20 LMGT1. Although, I don't think the black would look bad on the gun metal color. I feel like I would need to add more black accents to the car if I had black wheels. Like carbon fiber lip, canards etc. I am waiting on tires for the Advan RG. I think those will be my wheel of choice for now. Always been my favorite one piece wheel. I will also probably get the panasports relipped and barreled to a proper size. I already have 8 sets of wheels lying around lol. Don't need anymore.
  18. Yea they do. I almost got the all gold one that says GTR on it. 1 of 500 from nismo fest 2001. But the guy backed out. I was so mad lol. 500 usd.....
  19. Put a titanium tomei straight pipe I had lying around on the car today. Opened it up a little bit. Which also gave me a chance to look at the underside. A picture of the Fujitsubo Legalis R evo exhaust Front HKS brace bar Rear HKS brace bars Nismo front upper links
  20. it mounts in factory points. It cant be crooked. It only goes in one way, the same way it came out lol. Nismo is pretty spot on with everything. If you are talking about how the intercooler looks relative to the car, then yes they are not level to each other....that is how the intercoolers and mounting points are designed. Factory and aftermarket. It's all about the end tanks meeting up to factory hoses. Not to mention, they lean forward. Everyone always thinks intercoolers are verticle like a radiator lol. Just how the car is designed. Also, in the pics with no bumper, one side of the car is jacked up.
  21. Correct, I just did the end tanks. I wasn't about to get all Mr. clean with hand polishing lol. That would be so damn tedious. Another busy day today. out with the old in with the new. Then buffed, washed, polished, washed, waxed, washed. Car looks damn near new lol. Cell phone pics, need some professional shots. Also detailed the engine bay. The picture doesn't do justice. I am most impressed with this part. Pic of the HKS hipermax II
  22. Got more work done today. Restored the intercooler paint and polished end tanks I also tried to install the steering boss and steering wheel. But the steering wheel ring is not drilled right or something. The holes don't line up. Also I don't have a way to plug in the horn I dont think. Maybe the boss is for a different model. I need to look up the part number, But I think it was for a kouki r32 and I have a zenki. Not sure whats going on. But I will probably just have the adapter ring custom made and drilled so it can secure it together.
  23. NISMO!!!!!!!!! gas cap cover Dash gauges Din gauges Rear strut bar Seats. Wish I could keep the fabric from pulling out of the plastic piece. They are old and used....guess I cant have everything be perfect. Hood maul restored the intercooler. SAVING NISMO! Who cares about saving NEMO, dumb fish!! before fins straightened Fresh paint and polished up the end tanks! Me likey!
