  1. Finally got one. Does anyone have any info on these? From what I could gather there were only 500 made and were given out at nismo festival some time between like 2002-2005?
  2. Forgot this shot. Kind of cool. The midori titanium front pipe is starting to get a little color change from heat.
  3. Ok got a few more little updates. New badges on the car Replaced all 4 CV boots up front (r32 GTR, GTX35r 2jz FRS build, 1jz 240sx, 1jz coyote) OEM gives you everything. Fairly cheap also. Old grease VS new. (outters) Inner "stamina grease" Rebuilt Put on some N1 brake air guides Can see how they work with the factory brake duct/under tray. New OEM upper and lower radiator hoses couple of shots
  4. Few more little things. Nismo steering rack bushings OEM rain guards. Not sure if I'll use these, Just bought them for future use. I can't decide lol. All new OEM emblems Picked these old Recaro Crayola up. Probably put these in my s13 though. Some old school 1990's goodness. Gave the car a good wash. Took a cell phone pic. Thought it turned out pretty well for a cell phone. Nice and shiny.

  9. Yea it can be imported, but it cant be driven. You still have to conform to EPA standards. Good luck with that on a rb26dett. So it will never be road legal. The only 33 and 34 that are legal are the ones from motorex and they were given a bond release. Now there is two r33 that has been truly legalized and that is the r33 LM edition under VCP-32 clause.....and it took them 2 years to do it. You have to get it converted to obd2....which if I remember right adds another 30k or so to the price tag on top of importation and the car. Plus it can only be done by one company that has the nhtsa confidentiality grant. Waste of money IMO when you could just wait a few more years and get one no questions asked. People have been importing all GTR's(skylines) for the past 10+ years now lol. They are not legal though. Just because it has plates doesn't mean its legal, that's a state issue. Legality is a Federal issue. The easy part is getting the cars on shore, the hard part is making them legal. It's not the same as importing a 32. You just find one (that is legal) send it over, get all proper forms filled out, and register it. Simple as that. I had mine delivered to my house and legally registered(state and federal) and insured in 30 minutes. If r33's were legal and that easy to obtain, importers would be selling them just as much as the 32's.
  10. Well got a little update. The omori factory bnr32 inlet pipes are available. Mine were delivered today, but I am still about 3 weeks to a month from returning home to see them I don't understand why nismo called my guy and said that they were for install only and had to cancel my first order. I think there had to be some kind of mix up in communication or something. So all is well BNR32 people. I will get some pics up when I return home!
  11. I notice no difference really. Just saw a part yesterday that I have only seen once before. Brand new in box also lol.
  12. ah yes I didn't even think of that. Not to mention the shipping of actual part from Japan to USA would have to be added in individual item prices to. So it would probably come close to the same. I know you can get engine overhaul anywhere. But I want a nismo motor(if possible). I basically have all the nismo bolt ons already available to public and GCG hi flowed -7s. I'm waiting till the engine starts to show fatigue though before thinking of crate motor or just general overhaul
  13. I guess you missed the part where I said engine overhaul lol. Either S2 or just a final spec. Depends really on what it would cost and funds etc. My life style is pretty crazy lol. But there is plenty of things you can have done while its there. If the only way to get these parts, is by them only, then I'll do what I have to do. Custom Omori name plate in the engine bay would be a nice touch also. It's more than a hobby to me. But as far as intake goes, I wouldn't bother for the aluminum. If they come out with carbon pipes and the box, then I would take this idea a little more seriously.
  14. Yes thank you. At this point, if they release carbon intake pipes, I might just save up and ship the car over for engine overhaul and carbon intake pipes. But that would be in the future lol. If I'm going to ship a car to them, I might as well make the trip worth it.
  15. BNR32 enthusiasts. I have just found out that the Omori factory BNR32 inlet pipes are for install at omori only. I tried to order them and they would not sell. Even though I had about 8 thousand dollar parts order lol, so I will have some nice pics in a month or so . They say NO!!!!! It is because of the customization that is needed to fit them. I guess they don't want shoddy jobs all over the world mis-representing their parts. This is kind of upsetting as I believe the carbon fiber pipes will be the same way once they are released. Which is what I originally wanted. So you are either stuck with stock customized twin turbo pipe, or go aftermarket and lose factory air box. Really disappointing. I think this is a new thing because people have bought them when visiting omori factory personally. They must have changed there minds for some reason. I really do like the look of the Trust air suction kit (which im sure sounds really good to). But I like that stock, nismo, look It's a sad sad day......but on the bright side....I got a 2k refund LOL. Maybe i'll just get some suspension arms or something instead. Unless you ship your car to them for work to be done. Which would be totally awesome....but super expensive lol.
  16. 1) 1984 2)is just like a fashionable thing I think 3)nismo with red circle "rising sun" 1998 then the new Era nismo with red o is 2008
  17. I heard those things sounds a little different lol. See them on the auctions quite often just never have got them. You mind posting a sound clip of what they sound like when you get them?
  18. Well I just ordered a crap ton of stuff to beat the prices. Good times.
  19. why are they raising prices is the real question lol.
  20. are you kidding me? up to 70% lol that is ridiculous. Wonder what parts. Glad I just sent a list of parts to be priced out yesterday lol. Guess this just gives me an excuse to order more stuff LOL.
  21. I don't know why the aussie market is so over priced lol. I just sold 2 of mine for 100 bucks USD (140 ish AUD). You can get these on yahoo japan all day for in the 7,000 to 10,000 yen range. The yellows are more rare and go for about $120ish USD (170 ish AUD). I think I will start selling parts to Australia lol. I have a lighter brand new in box never opened, wonder what you guys would pay for that lol. I've noticed you guys go crazy over nismo keys to. 8 points are higher priced than 10 points here. Can find 10 points on yahoo japan all the time for like $250 USD or so. 8 points seem to be disappearing quite fast, brings a higher price.
  22. Yea I have had my eye on the nismo arms and circuit link kit also. Just to refresh the stock suspension. I'm sure the stiffer bushings will give the car a more solid feel. Especially replacing 25 year old factory bushings lol. From what I have read, the sway bars make the biggest change in getting rid of the factory understeer feel. Which I'm no race drive lol, but I think my stockish GTR with HKS coils and advan rubber already handles like a dream lol. Makes me really wonder what it feels like with something decently modified. Have fun on the cruise! Its summer down their.....we got winter lol. But it was 70 yesterday
  23. Looks real good Terry. I have been debating doing sway bars next myself (after I fix this slipping clutch! cant have fun!!!). I've heard they make quite the improvement. That trunk bar adds cool points to lol. Wonder if it really does much though.
  24. had the old tensioner squeel going on. Cold weather must of really got to it. It got pretty bad, started doing it at idle also. At first I thought it could be the fan, but it never went away no matter how warm I got the engine. Sounded like it was from the front cover, so I just assumed it was the tensioner. Glad I had all the stuff sitting around. Replaced water pump, idler, tensioner, spring, cam gears and timing belt. Wish I would of had a radiator and harmonic balancer lol. Perfect time to change. out with the old, in with the new.
