  2. Sorry the drivers side brake lights were smashed in the crash
  3. Sorry to hear about that, some people shouldn't be aloud on the road. If the insurance company find it difficult or it will take too long to source the parts they normally pay you the sum figure of the repair and get you to source the parts.
  4. Your not wrong there, but reading through the comments bellow http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/414739-m35-am-performance-intake/page-2 I would rather wait until I have a tuneable ecu before installing it, it's not worth the risk imo. The standard intake works fine for what I have now
  5. You ask and i shall deliver
  6. As most of you know, 7 weeks ago my car was stolen and written off. It has been a stressful and frustrating time, to have your car stolen from your driveway while your home is a felling I cannot describe. I have tried to put it behind me and turn my negative into a positive, I tracked down another Stagea, while salvaging my old wreck. Got it through roadworthy and now it is registered in my name It has been a roller coaster ride that I don't want anyone to have to go through. Now looking for the future The Last pic of my Old Stag At the salvage yard Picking up my new Stagea from Sydney At Vicroads registering it in my name New Stagea is in my name
  7. Do you have a tunable ECU? I have a AM Performance Intake sitting in my garage and from what i have read they will max out injectors if it isn't tuned right. Will be interesting to see your results, what other mods have you done on your car
  8. Spotted yellow C34 in Strath Creek, heading towards Flowerdale on Saturday morning (12th March)
  9. Post it here http://www.sau.com.au/forums/forum/145-stagea-parts-classifieds/
  10. Some came with air vents for the second row. Ive had 2 M35's and only my current one has them Leather was an option, but standard on the ARX and AXIS Sunroofs was also an option Cant really comment on the NA models but i have had 2 VQ25DET's and they are a really good motor imo With running 95, im sure someone here can give better info than i can. Ive always ran 98 on mine
  11. I got quotes $1,600 for the passengers side axle yesterday from Nissan

  14. Admin Delete please I have moved it to a different section http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/463057-wrecking-2001-nissan-stagea-m35-vq25det/
  15. Done a bit of reading up on this, and found this thread. Wondering if the DIY in the bellow link would work with our M35's http://g35driver.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-diy/158005-diy-cancel-airbag-light-proper-way-07-weight-sensor-bypass.html
  16. I contacted Haltech not that long ago and was told that they can adapt one of their products for the VQ25det but cannot control the auto transmission. A manual conversion like yours should allow standalone control of the motor
  17. Tave a look at this thread http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/347479-fitting-an-asuka-tv-tuner-in-a-m35/
  18. I think that the rear camera plugs in there
  19. A lot of information in this thread here http://www.sau.com.au/forums/index.php?/topic/442392-M35-Turbo-Upgrade.
  20. The parts listed are the blow off valve (GFB Deceptor pro 2), boost controller (gready profec 2), suspension mods (TEIN coilovers), custom exhaust (Fujitsubo Legalis r) all up probably cost me $4,000, they are the main things I want and is why I covered them in the policy. I will go back to the salvage yard tomorrow and take my plates and chat to them. In regards to Statutory write off the panel shop who is processing the quote for the insurance (who was happy to talk to me and answer any questions I had) he said they will only class it as a Stat write off if there are 3 major defects. He said there is roof damage and the motor isn't starting (wiring issue, probably from them hotwiring it) then there is a third which he cannot see now but the assessor might find somthing. Untill the assessor sees the vehicle there isn't much I can do except stipulate what might happen.
  21. Yea im with Just Car. Thats terrible what the guys did, they probably saw an opportunity to make money and tried to stop you from taking the parts. I have things listed on my policy so i cannot take them but they guys at the salvage yard actually asked if i wanted anything from it and that i can come around any time to take them off. At least thats one good thing about living rural, everyone is looking out for everyone. One thing that was mentioned to me when i was on the phone with Just Car today was if they class it as a Statutory write off i would not be aloud to buy it back, only when its a repairable write off i will be aloud to buy it back. Nowhere in my policy dose it specify if its a Statutory write off they wont sell it back to me
  22. Thanks everyone I went to the salvage yard yesterday and they have moved the car outside in the rain which with broken windows and the sunroofs slightly cracked means the inside is getting rained in, not very pleased with that. The guy there said that the insurance have not yet been out to assess it because of the long weekend and wont be here until next Wednesday.
  23. If the insurance co operate, i do plan on buying it back, keeping what i want, selling what i dont, then buying another and starting again
  24. I asked neighbours, and my street there is normally someone outside, nobody saw anything. It is getting assessed by the insurance company today, but i dare say it will be a write off
