  1. So as some of you know last Thursday my car was stolen from my driveway, it was found on Friday morning crashed into a tree. I’m pretty gutted as I have put a lot of work into it. Here are some photos of the damage caused Glass on my driveway Rear Quarter Damage Tailgate Damage Broken Windows Panel Damage Broken Window Cracked Windscreen How they hotwired it The same day that I came from the salvage yard, this was waiting for me at my desk. It’s the grill that I ordered from Japan in November
  2. Something definitely sounds off with that exhaust. Dosen't sound refined as a standard Fujitsubo
  3. Nearly time to overhaul the cooling system
  4. Got a Innovate o2 sensor and looking at installing it onto my M35 and replacing the standard sensor with the simulated narrowband signal. I've been under the car and the o2 sensor seems to be in an awkward spot. Is there a trick to remove them or do i need to take the dump pipe off
  5. Looking at installing 3 gauges, Water temp, Oil Pressure, and Oil temp into my M35 ECU_PINOUTS 13_12_10 (2).PDF Working off the attached diagram is it possible to simply splice into the Water temp and Oil temp wires to get accurate reading? If not what or where is the best location to install the sensors Also where is the best location to get the oil pressure signal
  6. I made a little video comparing the 2 Edit: forgot to add the video https://youtu.be/jc6yd2-hDgQ
  7. I wondered why the mid pipe always looked different to other stock M35's exhausts I have seen. How was the droan compared with the V35 mid section after you swapped it
  8. Yea its a resonator, they call them J pipes or somthing. They are there purely to reduce droan, a lot of V8's use similar set ups
  9. This is my old system next to my new one
  10. ^What he said I swapped my stock variable system for a Fujitsubo and made a huge difference and highly recommend it. If you are interested in my old system I'm happy to sell it. It's a factory variable system
  11. Thanks for the reply guys. I didn't think it would cause damage, just wanted to make sure
  12. Yesterday i was going over all of my fluids in my 2001 M35 and I checked the HICAS reservoir for the first time since owning it and it seems like the previous owner filled it to the brim and simply ignoring the max level line. What kind of damage can this cause running it like this as I have only just noticed it after 4 months of owning it
  13. Money is always going to come into play with any conversion/modification. But the way that i see it is that we are all on the hunt for more power or performance, if we weren't then we would leave it stock. I'm happy for someone to correct me, but by doing this conversion, replacing the auto transmission to a manual, and going RWD, you will end up with less power loss through the transmission and in theory you will be getting better wheel KW than before without touching the motor. Especially down low when you are cruising around town where the majority of the power is used day to day. Yes it may be expensive, but I have seen people spending huge amount of dollars for small power gains.

    M35 Mods

The standard cooling fan is fine but the small A/C fan is too thick

What i meant was a thermo for the A/C as the standard one was removed for the intrecooler, the clutch fan is going to stay

Before i got my M35 i pre ordered a few things. When i go it i installed Coilovers, HDi intercooler, cat back exhaust, Boost controller, and an ajustable BOV. All of those combined made a huge difference, but after a day on the track the Stag showed a few weak spots. Overheating, no grip with current tyres and a lot of understeer. I am now changed the direction which i was going and looking at improving cooling (Alloy radiator, trans cooler, oil cooler, thermo fans etc), after all that I'll be looking at bracing and sway bars and tyres obviously.
  17. Camping in the Stagea. Cannot go wrong, quick set up and nice and cosy over night

    spot the stagea

Spotted today around 3pm in Warrandyte
  19. Work Horse. Used the Stag for work delivering windows, this window is 1500 high and 1000 long, looks smaller in there
  20. Ill have another look tonight to see if i can find a brand on it. And yes there is a switch down the right that says sport which changed the exhaust note
  21. Nice videos, can clearly see what this mod does.
  22. Over the weekend i installed the Fujitsubo Legalis R Exhaust. Huge difference in comparison as you can see. The muffler that was on the car was bi modal, controlled via a switch in the dash, not sure if its a factory option but maybe someone here would know. I havent had a chance to hear the new exhaust as i did the rocker cover gasket at the same time and after doing that the Stag had developed a missfire, Code P1320 - Ignition Signal. Need to fix this before i can hear it 100% You can see the adjustable valve, the motor is in the back of the car near the standard TV receiver.
