  1. I'm 22. I dip over the limit from time to time to get clear of traffic. Nobody wants to be stuck behind a frequently stopping bus or a slow moving truck, and sometimes to get around them you have to speed for a little bit. Once I've got a bit of space in my lane I'm pretty content to cruise at the limit. On the motorways it's a little different. You could be doing 120 in the right lane and people will still go around you to undertake. It seems like almost everybody speeds, and it's probably worth considering upping the limit on motorways.
  2. Not sure if this belongs here, I was down Bridgestone Campbelltown today to pick up a new set of Potenza RE003s (which are fantastic, I should have gotten them ages ago) and I spotted a 1966 Ford GT-40! The bloke at the shop said he had to keep it parked indoors, otherwise it attracts a crowd.
  3. Have you got an error code? There's a thread somewhere which shows you how to read the error code using just a safety pin with the fuse box.
  4. The garage flooded a couple of hours ago, had to bail the water out. It still absolutely reeks though. Flood water is the worst. Thankfully I noticed that it had flooded before it caused any damage to the car, it was only about 5cm deep and hadn't reached.
  5. Cruised briefly with a black R34 coupe 93ADZ on the M5 past the Hume Hwy exit, I was in the dark blue R34.
  6. Spotted a mint looking gunmetal grey R32 GTR and a black R33 coupe within like 2 minutes of each other, on Railway Pde in Glenfield,
  7. You could try wrecking yards around your area. I haven't got one to sell you but what kind of spoiler are you looking for? The low profile ducktail spoiler or the R34 coupe spoiler? If it's the latter then any 2 or 4 door GTT's spoiler, in addition to the GT spoiler, would fit.
  8. Thanks man, I won't take it out then. Much appreciated. I obviously couldn't go to a mechanic today to get the advice being Christmas. So I'm very glad SAU was able to come through for me.
  9. Thanks guys, I've got the N/A rear wheel drive R34 so the CBC bearing should fit. Got a little trip planned tomorrow, about 150km worth of driving. Wondering if I should drive down or hitch a ride with a mate. I jacked up the car and took a video of the free play to determine just how bad it is, and if it can make the journey tomorrow. What do you esteemed gentlemen think?
  10. Spotted a white R32 GTR in Liverpool on Bathurst St near Pizza Hut in the afternoon, sounded nice!
  11. Just got the car back today from servicing and was told the passenger side rear wheel bearing is on its way out. I haven't heard the noise myself but I have noticed that the handling of the car has been less precise recently, and the steering wheel sometimes feels like somebody is tugging at it. My question is, should I get an OEM replacement or CBC's? They sell a kit for R34 through Just Jap. http://justjap.com/driveline/driveshafts-bearings/rear-wheel-bearing-carrier-nissan-a31-s13-s14-s15-r32-r33-r34-non-hicas-2wd.html
  12. So my stereo stopped working last night. Just 5 minutes ago I disconnected the negative terminal, left it off for a couple minutes and put it back on. Stereo works fine now. You ought to try it before buying a new one.
  13. Slept through it, with the car safely ensconced in the garage. Hope nobody had trouble out on the roads with the hail.
  14. Not sure if this belongs in this thread since I took the picture on Gran Turismo If only I had a camera. And an NSX.
  15. My stereo used to die from time to time as well, but for me the problem fixed itself after I disconnected the battery terminals and reconnected them after a couple of minutes. Are you sure your unit is broken?
  16. Not my car, not my photo, but it's a tough R34 nonetheless.
  17. How come you guys run broad tyres? I used to have a set of 245/55/17s but they got slashed, as though somebody used a surgical knife with precision, on the inside from rubbing up against something sharp near the coilovers. So I got 235s and they're not thick enough to have contact with that sharp thing.
  18. Spotted a white R33 yesterday evening turning onto Trafalgar St near Glenfield Post Office.
  19. Liverpool has always been atrocious at fixing potholes. Although the arterial roads in the area do see a lot of traffic, especially heavy trucks and the like. In fairness to them it would be really difficult to keep every patch of road pothole free.
  20. There must have been around a dozen I avoided today around Liverpool. And there was roadkill on the way home
