  1. Toddler, FJ power rules:D
  2. Jay, For my liking the fuel is probably a little on the lean side in the mid-range, and only really over-fuels up the top. Aim for 12:1 AFR's to have a nice safe tune.
  3. Roy, I agree that dyno's are a tuning tool, but ShootOut was designed to provide comparitive readings Australia wide, and from what I've seen of the ShootOut 04 dyno's, the results are virtually identical. Having said that, I'm more than happy this weekend to do a test with the temperature probe, one reading cold air, and the other very hot air to see if we can confirm what we've been told. Should have the results for you on Monday.
  4. Roy, It is possible to have the software overcompensate for temperature, but it is recorded on the bottom of the shootout graph. The probe is meant to be infront of the airflow to the filter/airbox and the bonnet is meant to be closed. Therefore temps up to about 50 could be expected after numerous runs. Higher temps than that would be a bit odd. Speaking to the DD Dyno Trainer, he says that even air temps of up to 80-90 wouldn't affect the reading by more than a few hp.
  5. :grouphug: Thanks Jay, I needed that. Is that your hands I can feel on my ass? Don't stop, I was enjoying it;) Anyway, back to the thread:D
  6. I did use a to show I was still happy. I'd like the thread to get back on track, so can't understand why the comment and no graph.
  7. Seeing as that is the point of this thread, why don't you do us all a favour and piss off:D
  8. I don't think they've really though this through, but will be interesting to see them try and confiscate my car:uzi:
  9. So that makes you an areshole too, Well done. Where's you dyno graph?
  10. Paul waves like an idiot, pick me, pick me:D
  11. Anyway, let's get back to the topic and see some dyno graphs:D
  12. It will be very interesting to see when the first of these cases goes to court, just make sure it's not one of us.
  13. $275 for 4 pads, which will do your front brakes. Niz's rotor's were already rooted, so I don't think they go through rotors any faster than other decent pads. They stop good cold, and brilliant with a bit of warm in them. I'd recommend a complete brake fluid flush at the same time, and replace with Dot 4 brake fluid.
  14. ND4PSD is owned and built by one of the owners of SST. SST tuned GOTBOOST, and mine has run a 12sec pass. So I guess that shows you know nothing:D
  15. I believe the wear rate is as good as other performance pads, I'll be checking Nizmo's on Saturday, she's had them in for 4months now, so I'll be able to confirm this.
  16. Depends how far you want to push it. My target is 500rwhp, so I have a set or ARIAS pistons and prepped GTR rods. Any further than that and I'd go for Eagle or ARGO rods aswell. 16psi should keep it safe enough until you decide to do the internals. Good luck.
  17. If you haven't already got broken ring-lands then you soon will. I wouldn't run more than 17-18psi, which should net you around the high 300's to low 400's. I'd love to see a graph once it's done, cause I'm trying to decide whether to upgrade from my GT30 to a GT35.
  18. Hi Guys/Gals, If your in need of serious stopping power, and can't afford a set of Brembo brakes, then look no further. Hawk racing pads will just about snap your neck with there braking power, and you don't even need to upgrade you calipers or rotors. Great for street use, motorkhana's, or even track racing. I've been able to secure and offer from SRE (Serle Race Equipment) to provide these Race pads at a major discount if we buy 6 or more sets of front pads. Normal reatail price on these pads is $400, but if we buy them as a group then we can get them for $275 for a set. If you have the $$ and are interested then either respond here or PM me, once we have enough interest, then you'll need to transfer the money into the SAUWA account before we make the purchase. If you have any questions then contact me. Cheers Paul President of SAUWA
  19. Haha, maybe you should learn something before you shoot your mouth off;) I work with SST and ND4SPD, and they entered there cars with the team I put together. I was also the WA rep for Drag Combat, and therefore we decided to enter it as a workshop car to help promote SST, and seeing as it was the only GTR to run into the 10's then I think it served it's purpose very well:D ND4SPD is a street driven car, and therefore wanted to be entered with street tyres, but once we had already won that category we thought we'd put some slicks on to see what times it would pull with them, seeing as the car was not going to be allowed to run again seeing as it broke 140mph. But our opponents had a cry so we never ran a pass on the slicks.
  20. They'll be getting mine too, as soon as I can borrow some replacement shocks:D
  21. Haha, nice to see ass-licking is still the topic of discussion:p
  22. Ska, Lick my asshole:shake:
  23. Whoops, I think we did break it:( Anyway's, I'm off back to WA, pop in a say hi when you bored:wavey:
  24. Bye Erin, Take care:grouphug: Charly, Haha, yeah, we used to have great fun with Squizz:D
