GTS-t VSPEC

Ok guys/gals, I have spoken to the organiser and managed to swing all of us a great deal for the Drag Racing:D If we get our entries in early then we get a special price of $50, the cost is normally $80. This allows you and one pit crew to enter for the day. So you can use this to get your gf's or mate in for free, when it would normally cost them $30 to enter. We need to start getting entry forms in soon, I can either email or fax them to you if need be, and then they need to be handed back to me for collection. Whilst I have no objection to trying to make the roads safer, I personally don't think this approach is the correct one. Even drug dealers have to be convicted in a court of law before there assets are seized, all we would need is cops that don't like our attitude. "Hooning" is not a defineable behaviour, and leaving it up to someones discrection leads us to very dangerous territory. I know I'd be taking matters like this to court.

We're more than happy to have anyone with a reasonably presentable Skyline along, but I think you either need to have a top looking car (bodykit, gauges, stereo etc), or have high performance (engine translplant, aftermarket turbo, 300+rwhp).

SAUWA won't be entering CABIN Autosalon this year, but we'll be putting a team in for PAS again. But CABIN will be worth going to as there will be some big horsepower GTR's on the dyno:D

I think Bart was referring to a trip they had planned last year, which the Motorplex didn't fund. Zanda, I'm trying to get info about the team entry, once I know more I'll post full details in here.

I agree with most of the threads that the mods close, and it's a tough job. We all need to make sure we keep threads on topic, including myself, and if we don't then expect the thread to be closed.

Yes, we have them going into a couple GTR's this week, and they work very well. I have the Wolf3D on mine, as do many SAUWA members, and they are fantastic, but there only as good as your tuner. BTW, Ignore TomJ, he speaks shit;)

Adrian, Will be good to have you on board for Show'n'shine, I'll be entering mine for that too:D Yes Munro is considering coming over, haven't heard back any confirmation yet though. Be great if Kier comes over too:D

I'd guess about 230rwhp without AFR control, and about 245rwhp with and SAFC.

Sean, We have a few decent cars, may even have an 8sec GTR making an appearance, but have to wait to hear back:D Once we've confirmed some more people, then we'll get together to discuss what brackets, dial in's and tyres we can use. We can always have a couple sets of slicks that we share between some cars.
