  1. Greg, Al (sexzilla) made the membership cards for us, he does a great job, and we owe him a heap of thanks for all his efforts. Members only area will be discussed at the next Committee Meeting, and will be implemented shortly thereafter:D
  2. Sean, Everyone had the option to dial your own, but I personally prefer headsup racing, so it caters for both tastes. I'm glad you all think it was a good event, I'll be sure to pass the feedback on to the CABIN guys.
  3. Bart, With luck next year you'll have your car, and REP will have his. Nice to see the Bunno boys making the trip up, you and Big George.
  4. Hi Guys, Just thought I'd start this thread to thank all of those that came down to watch and participate in Drag Combat. I think the event was very successful, and will only get bigger and better over the next few years. We had our Official SAUWA Club launch aswell, and we had lots of people sign up. If you missed out then don't worry, we'll setup another method of join up:D A huge thanks to Liz, Dan, Alex, and Lauren for running the SAUWA tent in my absence, and to Al(Sexzilla) for designing the shirts and Membership Cards. If you have any constructive feedback about the running of Drag Combat, then please feel free to post it here or PM me. Also congratulations to Got Boost, LagWagon, ND4SPD and Subky for there great efforts, well done guys:D Thanks Paul
  5. Ok, the go is for those that have given entry forms you just need to tell the gate people your name at the enrtants gate, they will have your form, a car sticker and 2 enrty passes:D If anyone has any difficulties then just call me on 0422 972 195, and I'll sort it out:D Hope to see you all there. Cheers Paul
  6. Bam, Shh, that vid was a special one just for you;) Thanks Joe:D
  7. Aidwin, I doubt they would have left your "spitroast" comment in;)
  8. Yes they all come with a limiter in the factory computer, about 7200rpm. It's always best to shift before hitting the limiter, but it's not likely to cause any real harm.
  9. Well done to Leewah, that is a huge effort, glad to see that the figures keep getting better and better:D
  10. Dan, There is still time to get you car in, you can enter the "Show'n'Shine" if nothing else:D I was out running my car in, so I missed seeing myself on TV, hope I wasn't too bad. At least this time they didn't tie my up like a gimp;)
  11. Memphis, I didn't realise you could get them done, I'll be in touch regarding one for the club:D
  12. TJ, No thanks;) Yes, we have already organised the image for the banner, but seeing as we want a really nice banner we need some funds to purchase it. We're hoping to put some of the membership money towards it:D
  13. Hako, We still have to investigate all the details involved with becoming CAMS affiliated, but seeing as there is a fairly heafty cost to becoming affiliated we would need to raise the funds somehow, either directly from members, or via fund raising activities:D
  14. Very nice Micko, Ross will be doing mine once then engine is all back together:D
  15. Haha, finally there are a few RB25's back on the road with forged pistons:D Ben, Tristan, Lauren, Aidwin, and soon to be me:D
  16. Hicks, Sweet, about time you were back on the road, I'll be driving mine next week too:D You going to join us at Drag Combat, we could have a showdown:D
  17. Well done Mikey, just take it easy and drive safe:D
  18. Kyles, I'm sure we can organise a lift home for you, so come on down:D Hako, To start off with we're not currently CAMS affiliated, but once membership is established we will look into joining a CAMS.
  19. Danny, Send me a number to fax it to:D

  21. Andrew, The Welshpool Licensing Center has a list of all certified Engineers, so it may be a matter of ringing around for a quote.
  22. Haha, it will still be fun, and it's still a cheap day to go drag racing, and perve on hot chicks:D
  23. Bam, FWD non turbo's can run, but there in the same class as turbo FWD's.
  24. As far as I'm aware it will be very similar to what happens on Wednesday night drags, and to make sure the car has been properly classified.
  25. Aidwin deserves some thanks too, he changed oil a couple times, and helped change brake pads etc:D
