  1. Nice new car, but still prefer the old one
  2. Really depends what is wrong with it, but you could give Fulcrum a call to get a general figure. The additional cost will be the freight there and back
  3. Could simply be the spring itself reseating, rather than something inside the shock, but on a hoist it won't take them long to diagnose.
  4. Depends what is wrong with it. WA Suspension can have it sent back to Fulcrum Suspension (Suppliers of TEIN in OZ) if it requires rebuilding, but most likely it's just loose. http://www.fulcrumsuspensions.com.au/
  5. Hi mate, I remember you and your old car, glad to see you're back You attach files like this Cheers Paul
  6. I have a GTR diff in my R33, one of the best mods ever
  7. Drag racing street cars isn't as easy as you'd think, took me many passes to get any decent times.
  8. It's not until the arvo, surely you'll have sobered up by then ?
  9. Thanks for the advice on the brakes The PFC01's are awesome, only reason to try the PMu was simply the price, got two sets for the price of one thanks to there sale
  10. Does anyone know what the switches on the clutch and brake pedal do, and whether I need to keep them ?
  11. INTERIOR DESIGN Well I've finally had enough of cleaning sound deadening from the car, it's not perfect but its already consumed more hours than I care to think about. So I went to the local auto-store and bought some Holts Duplicolour in Dark Metallic Grey (as close a match to the factory paint as I could fine), and I started to paint the interior parts which didn't have any factory paint on them. The colour matches well, but the 150g can didn't last too long, so hopefully the paint comes in a bigger size can PICTURES Left unpainted, right painted
  12. Obviously the car works fine without it, so I'd leave it disconnected until you figure out what it is. I'm intrigued now
  13. Hmm, a photo would really help right now. Does the box have any markings on it at all ? My HICAS Computer was mounted under the rear parcel shelf, on it's own bracket. Did you check that a HICAS Lockbar hasn't been installed ?
  14. HICAS Computer
  15. Please encourage your partners to also do the driver day, if they ever drive your car then its a great place for them to learn drive it better
  16. GO SLOW BITS Well I finally bit the bullet and bought some bigger, and hopefully better brakes. All the bits arrived this week, but won't get fitted until the car is back from the cage builder, and I have bought some rims to suit, unfortunately the RPF01 Enkei's won't take the bigger rotor/caliper. The existing brake setup was R33 GTR Brembo's, DBA5000 Rotors, PFC01 Pads, and Earls braided brake lines. Was pretty darn good, especially once I changed to the PFC01's, however I still think with a stronger brake setup that there is another second to be had at the track (Wanneroo). The new brake setup is the AP 6Pot 355mm rotor, with ProjectMu H18 pads. I got a pretty good deal on all of it, and aslong as is works as well as it looks then I'm sure it will be up to the job. The plan is to try and squeeze these brakes under a 17" rim, which should be possible with a few different rim choices (i.e. LMGT4, TE37's, Buddy Club P1's etc). PICTURES It's like Xmas when new Boxes arrive 355mm Strap Rotors with Hats Project Mu H18 Pads Brake Fluid, Caliper Mounts, Brake Lines etc. 6 Pot Calipers Ongoing cleanup of the sound deadening Right hand side after mineral turps and some scouring
  17. Boost control problem is really obvious from your dyno graph, get it fixed will make a signigicant difference. Have said that I've made more power on a stock turbo, so there are other issues at play here, but need a dyno graph vs. AFRs to tell you anymore. I'm sure the workshop could tell you all of this and more is you asked
  18. I have one on my RB25, but it uses an R34 GTR crank, so maybe that is why it works.
  19. Hard to know you can't do it until you come across the problems, happens alot when people drop off cars with some parts, and expect a workshop to make it all work.
  20. Dude, I'd ignore him, the best he could do is send out a Summons to Court, but without any evidence I'd say he stands no chance.
  21. It doesn't sound unreasonable to me.
