  1. I mounted my ATF cooler on my a/c condensor using the zip ties, so i am not using the std bracket anymore. EGA, it looks about the same. You could fix it up a little bit more, but it really doesnt matter. Its very functional.
  2. Yeh the gauges are a really tight fit i find too. Mainly because of the surround.
  3. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...dpost&p=1675590 I didnt use glue, i used a soldering iron and melted the two plastics together. Since ive sanded and spray painted the snorkel. PS. Does anyone have a standard snorkel for sale? I want to get a standard one for when I remove my FMIC kit and selll up.....soooooo maybe we trade EGA41T? PPS. FLYSLY, If you are in the mood for buying a front mount kit, mine will be for sale in a few months time when the car is fixed. Look in the thread which I posted above. The full kit is good for 300awkw and id let it go with the piping, silicon joiners, clamps, GTR cooler AND a slightly damaged (fixable) front bar reo so you dont have to cut up your one and the cooler also mounts up first thing (mounting points already welded onto the front bar reo)
  4. Atessa is a fully viable system 99% of the time its full RWD and then when the rear loose it, more feed to the front. It uses different rotation speeds/G sensors.
  5. stageas are alright sideways, just need a big enough area. awd makes for some good sideways action, but open rear diff doesnt. Must balance the two. Also, my issue is i hit the limiter in 1st too quickly. I dont like getting sideways in D and so i leave it in 1, but then i hit the limiter too quickly and then slow down etc. ... must.... buy..... manual.... stagea Bloody 260RS's, manual AND LSD'ed up BTW, in the wet i always get this Stall... launch.... beat other car... next lights "IS THAT 4wd??!?!?!??!?!??!?!??!!" Im like, yeh, hahah Interstingly enough, if i nail it sometimes just driving forwards and the road is on a slight tilt and a bit wet/dirty, i loose the rear and start fishtailing.... (i think ive taken stagea beyond what it was designed for )
  6. they look at lot darker in photos. IRL they are nice. Not too hard. They are not night shades either, they are sprayed.
  7. I have to say, compared to my car, that is REALLY nice average power. My car is soooo peaky its over the top Nice work, enjoy that torque.
  8. okok, ive found something EVEN worse! Looks good from the front, the ass is a bit low though...windows are nice and shiney! http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/index.php?ID=6460
  9. The 2nd IMPUL one is nice... kinda like a BA ford grill
  10. Oddly, looks good with the pinstripes.... ideas ideas
  11. if Sk doesnt take em, beastian will take em for sure... but at the way its going now, SK's been DESPERATE for a while
  12. oi, thats my idea to upgrade! for my interest, where in Aus would this 260RS be going?
  13. PM sent. Couple still available.
  14. Good to see they use Nankang rubber in Japan too.... hahahah
  15. i guess the best you can do is wait a week then swap it all over? What DOESNT need to be standard for compliance? I am looking to import a stagea now and would really appreciate this information.
  16. do it, take him away time off work, petrol, mental anguish, wear an tear on car for time going to EPA, EPA test cost etc etc.
  17. I thought this thread was pretty clear? Dont bother with ceramic coating, buy some thermal wrapping and steel cable ties and thats the best way about it? So... lets not even bother considering ceramic coating. I mean, whats the benefit over wrapping? From my experiance, wrapping drops surface temps HEAPS. Enough to be able to tough for a second without burning your fingers off.
  18. someone explain to me how to do that... i see everyone doing it, how is it done?
  19. I can lend stock shocks and springs, but i dont have the stock caps or nuts as I am using them all now
  20. Currently the owner of one 1 T... soon, hopefully be the owner of two T's in one
  21. and at the same time dont want to hav eto remove the head coz you f**ked it (future tense)
  22. to regap a plug you just simply put the feeler gauge in the gap, then tap the plug against a hard table or something to bend the electrode in. If you need to go the other way, open it with the feeler gauge and then tap back into desired size. I use BCPR7ES's gapped at 8. About $20 for 6. Replace em with oil
  23. lol... garage space taken up by a VS commo and an 02 Astra SRi here.... my stagea gets the street (its the driveways fault)
  24. Mods are very similar to your new stagea, however a bit more boost and stuff. We'll all meet up one day.
  25. Thats why id stop at 250....keep it sane/cost effective. On another note, chances are I am going to overlap my stagea ownerships and swap over all my suspension into the 260RS (apart from rear shocks which ill need new ones, but i know SK does trade-ins ) Going to do the same for the stereo, cat and possibly catback.... so yeah. There wont be a rush to get the 260 on the road then either. Going to just wait until i get my tax return back this financial year, more credit to my name to let me borrow.
