  1. why would I, i dont have the car yet?.....i dont even have the cash yet. The car is going to put me in enough of a tight financial situation to not allow me to investigate modifications for a little while. There is always budget modifications though

  5. Just thought I should let everyone know that S2 260RS's still have the R33 gear in it. Me and beastian have cross checked the turbos of the S2 260RS with that of a R34 GTR and they are different. The S2 260RS had R33 GTR part numbers for most things.
  6. There are no laws saying certain cars cant tow over certain weights. That would mean every car would have to be tested. SydneyKid tows a race R32 GTST and there are a few others that tow around drift cars etc. Ive got a towbar on mine to tow, but never done anything over 1,000kg

Ok guys, a few here have spoken of "watching auction prices" for Stageas, can you please give me links/accounts to these websites so I can do a little investigation of my own into the sales prices of a certain type of stagea.. So far ive looked at the one from http://english.auto.vl.ru/auctions/nissan/stagea/ but I am looking for more. I want to build up a nice rather largish database of auction details to compare.   15. So, are you guys hitting the rev limiter in 5th, or at least 4th by the 400m line? If not, id say you could make the ratios shorter. Try to make the car shift at the point where the power starts to drop off, then it shift into a point where the power is almost peak. Also, id say its safe to assume that the NOS just makes a "boost" of power through the entire powerband, meaning peak power etc will all be at the same time.
  16. Well, yes, my GCG makes the car a hell of a lot more fun to drive, but this ball bearing vs bush bearing thing only really comes into play when the turbos on the edge IMO. I had every intention to max out my GCG at 230-240awkw, but its not easy with the auto shift logic getting the in the way. I mean, it will be hard to TUNE (DFA/SITC) the car to max out the turbo, hence I beleive if you can save $1000 in just buying a bush instead of a ball, you will be up 1k on everyone. Only a few days ago i realized how hard RB25's are to get power out of really. I mean, for 220-250awkw you need to spend around 10+k.... labour inclusive. RB26+full exhaust+PFC = 250awkw/12.6 qtr mile. Plus you get the brakes, interior, body kit etc at the same time...so you dont really need to upgrade these (unlike an RS4)

  19. To tell you the truth, if you are keeping the car auto or if its auto, i wouldnt worry too much the turbo, will be hard to max it out anyway. As long as the car is very streetable is all that matters.
  20. It depends, I know on the RS4 its pretty staight forward but i have to remove the caliper. On other cars, they just swing open and can be changed.. to be honest, i dont know about brembos but im pretty sure it isnt hard at all...

  22. ive seen much worse. Yes, there is actually a tyre on this rim I had 235/45/R18's on a 10 inch wide rim.. on the rear and 225/45/R18's on a 9 inch wide rim on the front
  23. i can get freeway 10L/100...but city CANT drop below mid 14's no matter how much i pussy foot it. I get about 16's with a bit of fun... its really worth it. Friday and "special" nights i get about 20
