  1. nice you have a nice unicorn too
  2. As the guy above said, i replace the washers coz it costs sweet f**k all to do it. better to be safe than sorry bro
  3. Till next time mate I think i was looking forward if anything... hehe
  4. With the suspension upgraded, they are good. Seriously, if you dont NEED a wagon, get a GTR.
  5. There are three ways to adjust camber with the bushes. You can fit two kits in the rear with each kit giving +/-0.75 degrees. So two kits gives 1.5 degrees adjustment with the stock 0.5 degree thats 2 degrees (thats a lot) Basically, you just adjust it roughly with the whitelines, then fine tune with the stock adjuster.
  6. hahah yeh... that would have been me... what were you doing out my way that time of night?
  7. dont go too wide either. Beyond 9 inchs is just overkill to me
  8. front on pic please want to see what a cooler looks like tucked behind that front bar...
  9. people will say that you could adjust that by using different tyres etc, but its never going to be perfect. Id personally never use different wheels front to rear, just get 4 of the exact same. (Makes buying 2nd hand wheels hard)
  10. Oh mate, this is my first car (that got on road) and yeh, DEFINATLY a great first car. The only downside i see to it is understeer in the wet. With my old nankangs the bitch used to understeer going around the corners with mild speeds. The K104's have really improved that now and it has no real issues (unless i cause them ) Ive told my best mate over and over, if i was to buy a first car for my kid that was turbo, id have to choose the stagea.
  11. yeh... id have used mine up by now too if i had one what do they cost? I know you gotta have em on boats....
  12. Nope, but you do need to remove the RB25 intake plenum. The easier way around this all is to just remove the entire engine, swap the gearbox with the engine off the car and do all the required drilling and fitting for the clutch master/lines and then put the engine/gearbox back in one go... Let us know
  13. What everyone here is overlooking is that the fact that slides turbo is not a DIRECT swap. The difference between a Japanese bush bearing turbo kit, slides and a gcg is as follows. When i fitted my GCG... I had to change... ZERO (apart from the copper washers which is given) parts. Every bolt, every nut, everything just went back on. The japs sell a turbo, they sell it in a kit. THey come with the dumps, elbows, bolts, washers, gaskets etc etc. These kits are 2000+. So the GCG looks more appealing now. Slides turbo, from what ive read, there needs to be some modification to the oil and water lines and some of the banjo bolts (please correct me if im wrong). This *stress* COULD *stress* bring the cost up a bit. Additionally, *stress* MAY *stress* be overlooked by some people when installing the turbo, especially when its 2nd hand... I am awaiting some results of tests....
  14. Yes, my answer still stands. On another note, someones foot attacked my bracket and so now I have a flare holder in my glove box
  15. Just buy the whiteline bushes. They do the same and are much more suited to road use.
  16. Wait until you buy some bilsteins, then you will think its stiff. Na, its not that bad. I got airbourne over some train lines the other night for about 0.5s (13m length at 100km/h). Ill repeat it at day time with a camera on multishot and post up some pics.
  17. If you are going to put your NEO cover back on, id remove the dust cover from over the coilpacks. that cover keeps a lot of heat in and can cause cracking in the coilpacks over time.
  18. No, they are flares. I know this for a fact because Ians car still has his. There are two reasons they go missing 1. There are lots of greek people in Japan and they steal them and go to football matches 2. As far as I know, they are not allowed on the ships or something because they are a fire hazard. I could also see dock workers stealing them and selling them/playing with them
  19. you want some stagea burnouts ey? only drawback to me doing it is that id be doing single spinners
  20. Id have to agree with Gary and say there should be no discussion of chaging the turbos specifications to match. You are selling an off the shelf product, which will be compared to another off the shelf product. Its like saying, lets compare a GTR with a GTST, but first, lets upgrade everything in the GTST to GTR specifications to make it fair... see how that doesnt work? Stock for stock, shelf for shelf. Slide - In the end, send a turbo to Gary, he is going to do all the leg work for you to dyno it etc and compare it to a GCG. Given that your turbo is 1/2 the price that the GCG is, as long as its within 20% of the performance, it could be more appealing to people. However, in the end after reading this entire thread+more now, id have to agree that thurst bearing turbos are just not practical enough for me to use on my daily. Sometimes you just spend a little bit more to get a whole lot more.
  21. ditto, wanna see what these 2530's looks like compared to GTRS's
  22. at least the download is going fast, if its bad, you are only wasting 38mb/156kb/s of my life we shall see
  23. can anyone else confirm that autogauge is made by autometer i always assumed autogauge was like, autometer china style
  24. From a recent cruise on friday night, i have a video of my car BLOWING flames when accelerating away when on WOT. Through first, 2nd and into 3rd it spits flames. Here are a few pics (videos bit big to post) I now know why my muffler makes a really annoying popping noise on idle... ive kinda melted/screwed up its insides. I never knew she blew flames before this video (no ones ever said anything). The flames are not because ive dropped ign on a cyl either coz power delivery was as smooth and strong as ever, its just stock ecu with GCG + 15psi Can just still see the flame there in the last picture PS. Ive got a pipercross air filter, split dump/front pipe, $440 catco cat, fuji catback, new o2, gcg highflow and ebc'ed up to 15psi on FB and i still get low 20's nailing it around like that on cruises. City i get ~15L and highway about 10-11L. Ive learnt that stageas are REALLY dependent on the foot. Anything over granny spec and you are going to start using fuel no matter how "little" you give it a squirt. Also, hills kill it. If you live in a hilly area...
