why would you be giving it around police anyway? unless you want to get pulled over Does sound rather nice and mean though can get really loud though As for gaining/losing power. I don't think it would gain or lose, as it is really just to control boost levels
-
yea, i don't see why a wastegate would have anything to do with fluttering. I think you need new tyres and maybe a new bodykit, neons too, that should do the trick (only kidding ) Aren't there some BOV's out there that actually do their job AND make a flutter noise (the release of air into atmosphere, not back pressure)?

YOU sir, should get a bloody award! (im not being sarcastic either)

Hey, just wondering about the V-mount intercooler and radiator setup. Does anyone know about the advantages, disadvantages, costs and if it was possible on R31+ model skylines? cheers
-
my opinion is they shouldn't have even been in the bloody car to begin with (with it being stolen and all). But it also depends on the seriousness/severity of the situation. If it's a serial killer they are chasing, who is completely mentally unstable and will kill again at the drop of a hat, then sure, why not. But some kids joyriding, then maybe not. It's a tough question. But anyway, like i said, on that particular incident, why in gods name were they stealing a car in the first place? And now everyone makes the cops look bad? Why? when the kids were clearly in the wrong

best multi plate clutch

5 passes? jesus, what have you been doing to it? :S -
it's not a smart thing to bore out an RB26 too much if you want decent power and reliability

Bee*R B324R R32/R34 Hybrid
Jago replied to funkymonkey's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
anyone see that B324R bodykit by Bee-R? It's like an R32-R34 wide body hybrid, well, kinda a widebody. It's in issue 52 of HPI, was wondering, if there was any way of getting that full kit in? (including the rims) -
knowledged RB25/26 builders please help!

aren't stock RB26 rods forged anyway? :S -
kinda like putting aaaa.... let's see, 12A rotor in a falcon GT

doesn't the standard FCON run with AFM's? I think it's the Fcon V-pro that runs map sensor, correct me if im wrong.

i wasn't saying it would give a high compression ratio, i was saying a higher compression ratio is something you want to avoid when running higher boost Plus if you do change the gaskets then there's one less thing you will need to worry about later on
-
it's someone trying to imitate a japanese bloke trying to say skyline
-
an aftermarket head gasket would be nice to drop comp ratios a bit more so you can run higher boost. Uprated fuel system to cope with the demand, just injectors won't be enough, a pump upgrade would be good, or just go the whole hog and get the propper high power fuel setup, with surge tanks etc Best method to prevent detonation - don't mix high boost with an already high compression ratio. Give it a good dyno tune too, to get the cam timing right and the Fuel:Air ratios

cops aint exactly fans of loud BOV's, or any BOV's for that matter
-
just yank out the AWD fuse
-
why would an engine conversion have anything to do with drive configuration? :S
-
yea i don't think you would have walked away from that without any injuries anyway, up the back, side, or front. 70km/h is pretty fast (a fast speed to be bealted from i mean). If there were any cars infront of you, you probably would have been sent ploughing into them if you got hit by a car goin 70km/h

actually, i can say i have a clear conscience when it comes to things. I wasn't picking on him for doing it, im just saying, why are the ordinary 'line drivers being bashed in the news, when that dude posts videos of it on his site and yet not a word is said? Afterall, he is meant to be a prominent figure in the skyline community, building the world's 3rd fastest (correct me if im wrong) GT-R and 4WD/AWD, building it locally too. I'm not saying we are all perfect, god knows im not. If you DO do something stupid on the streets (and you shouldn't, but if you chose to), atleast make sure it's completely dead =/, unlike the one's at exvitermini, you see: him taking off behind a taxi on a highway, him launching it at the lights (at sylvania i think it was) with a celica along side him, and his car looking a tad "swirvy" too. Then there's 8TH-SIN: Fishtailing it on a street where there are parked cars on either side, and spectators amongst those cars. Now, a powerful RWD car fishtailing it in that situation, kinda dangerous don't you think? Also, the 8TH-karma video. Tearing the strips of freshly painted road markings right infront of the workers who just did them. Gives us imports enthusiasts a bad name, don't you think? Seeing at the time there was no real place they could do all this safely, couldn't they atleast chose a place where there was a minimal risk to by-standers, themselves and other cars? (one of the GTR-700 videos was in a situation like that though, looked dead as etc). Anyway, i'm not bashing him for doing it, he loved his car, wanted to have a bit of fun with it, as we all do. I'm just saying that he is getting off scott free when there is evidence of him doing it, and yet the rest of the community gets slammed. But anyway, that's in the past now, and i don't feel like going on and on in the one post. btw, i think people are getting a little confused and influenced with the japanese scene and RH9. I don't think you see them racing on public roads with other cars around (one's who aren't taking any part in it what so ever). Sure, some tuning workshops do their tuning runs on public roads etc, but most of them are in the dead of night when the roads are pretty much, well, dead. I think it also comes down to people's "over confidence". Them thinking they are excellent drivers, when infact, they are not. There was something about this a few years ago on telly, on a current affair, or today tonight, or something. They took a bunch of blokes in hotted up cars, one was a supposed 500kw R32 GT-R, maroon in colour (or wine red), another was an S14 i think. They all rated themselves at excellent drivers, noone gave themselves below 7/10. Anyway, as you could imagine, they all failed miserably, in their own cars. Maybe, this is a maybe ofcoarse, the government could subsedise the costs of advanced driver training courses for car enthusiasts and those who wish to drive around in high powered vehicles, to try and make the roads safer for themselves and others? I mean, you can't expect an ordinary joe bloe to sit down in a 500kw car and drive it around like he is peter brock or tetsuya kawasaki. Newho, enough of my ramblings for one post. BTW, HOW BOUT SOME GOVERNMENT FUNDING TO KEEP WSID OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK?
-
lol response, i'd go for GT-RS, if you want something with more to offer later on down the track then the 2835
-
the 8TH-SIN videos too. See, "high profile"(owning GTR-700 and all) people like that, well, people who are known in the import community, do all that sort of stuff without copping anything over it. It's all well and good if it is staged and in a controlled environment, but they weren't, and yet they don't get slammed for their actions like we do, further more, they post videos of their actions.... BTW, ur from the gong so you prolly know what natio runs are. If not, and those who don't, they are just a "rally" sort of thing around the royal national park. They just fly around the place, so yea

hmmm, say, www.exvitermini.com , stage one street videos anyone?

what price are you looking to pay at "penno"? Well, what are you going to pay? I asked a mate and he said there are a few clubs you can hire out, but prices vary, as does capacity.
