    Nasho Run?

Anyone keen for a nasho run on either friday or saturday night? I'm feeling, well, im in the mood for a cruise.
  4. not unless they can prove it beyond reasonable doubt e.g photos, multiple witnesses. Well atleast i think they can't.
  5. i drive for a living, so if i get disqualified, not only am i screwed in regards to my skyline, but with my job as well.
  6. you are safe if you have had your P's before 1/7/05, or if you have reasonable cause. SAU NSW is a CAMS affiliated club, there's your reasonable cause. Join up

I'm sure mine is worse than yours. I'll have to show you sometime I'd rather have it in-place and then see the look on the cop's face when he sees how quiet it is, saves doing it later on once the defect notice is given, and saves you going through the whole process of getting it cleared up.
  8. christ that's an expensive exhaust. Mine was mild steel though, 3" turbo back on a HR31 GTS-x. Got mine done for around $750-$800

is there any restriction with it fully open? (at all?) Is flow decreased at all with this installed? If not, im gonna get rid of the resonator and just stick this thing on, or get them to cut open the resonator and weld up a 3" pipe going straight through it so it looks like it's the real thing. Yes i know im a sneaky bastard
  10. sydney-nowra sydney - berry (bloody great pie shop down there) sydney - hartley village/valley (on the way to oberon, past katoomba) bankstown - punchbowl - lakemba (keep your doors locked and windows shut)... just kidding Cronulla - Avalon Sydney - Canberra and/or Jyndebine (spelling?)? When i think of some more i'll post em.
  11. how long is a piece of string? Depends on how you tune it all etc etc.
  12. can't have a quiet exhaust which gives good power. Plain and simple. I'm gettin a 3" turbo back exhaust chucked on an ECCS RB20'd R31 GTS-x, won't be too bad If you want lower pitched sounds then get mild steel, the thickness/density etc absorbs higher frequency sounds better.
  13. condition of the engine, stock cooler, etc etc. For all we know it could have been absolutely thrashed in Japan. Thankfully, it aint always the case. They look after their cars like they are their kids, well, most of them. Only problem with my HR31 was the clutch, just had a badly worn face, which is fair enough for a 15-16 year old car. Other than that, i was very impressed with its condition. Either way, power won't vary too much from car to car unless it's taken a battering
  14. depends on the condition as well
  15. anyone have any news on my membership application at all? Sent in a week or two ago *scratches head* can't exactly remember when. Also, the donor status thing. Donated the max ammount, yet no donor tag?
  16. do you have a link to slidewize imports? So no modification could get the coilovers to fit?
  17. What would need to be modified in order to fit R32, R33 or R34 coilovers to an R31 GTS-x? Seeing there isn't really much available, i thought i'd make life easier and just modify her to fit R32 (or what ever) ones, rather than bother getting ones made. I'm not going to do this right away, but i probably will later on. Any advice? Also, any ideas on costs involved?
  18. sorry for straying a bit off here. Just thought i'd add that noone needs to worry bout service or anything. Currently buying/getting work done to an R31 there, more than happy with it all. Great service, great prices, great quality. Also seen these coolers myself, rather nice units if i must say. For what sort of applications would these be best suited for(rough estimate?)? e.g power range?
  19. hmm, not many people mentioning continentals. The tyre shop at my work supplies them, can get them for a pretty decent price too. The manager said they are a damn good tyre, so im going to have to give them a go sometime.
  20. noone can give you an exact price, as prices vary everywhere you go, and vary depending on the condition of your vehicle and its weak points and strengths. It also depends on how you chose to go about your tuning and modification.
  21. is the "turbo" still available or has it been sold?
  22. how much for them SSR professors? Say, 17x7.5 and 17x9's, if not then 18's with the same width? If you were to get another set or two, or three or four
  23. any problems with fitting into an 88/89 R31 GTS-x?
  24. anything can be done dude, you just really need to watch every step, test the strength and reliability of each part, and work the weakest link. I'd love to do it, but for me, there really ARE budget constraints forgies a must (most of this has been established), rods -> GT-R ones are prolly a cheaper option?; cam timing, hi flow turbo, and basic support systems like exhaust, FMIC, fuel supply etc. It's gonna be tight-ish, but possible. A price hunt needs to be done, i'd get one started now, but boy am i buggered
  25. go the RB26 dude, save u doing it later on or buying a stroker or something (if you want to go all out) you don't need a huge budget to get an RB26 to 300rwkw if spent in the right places.
