  1. Andrew , did you find the RB25 AAC DIY? I remember reading through one for RB25 or RB26 a few months ago. If you haven't seen either, sing out and I'll see if I can find it.
  2. Cheers Ph@t It's going onto carsales today. More exposure might help things out! TOH: thanks for your offer dude. Yeah, I still need the cash so my wife can stop driving the old bomb she's in at the moment. I love R34s!
  3. Howdy nightcrawler, yep I remember when you told me that about twelve months ago! Somehow having the wheels NDI'd kept falling to the bottom of the 'ways to spend $$ on the Nissan' list. Best look into that again before it bites me on the ass. Cheers! Mark
  4. Was it a HD disc? Windows DRM encryption (AACS) on HD/BR discs means aroudn 60sec loading time whilst the drive decrypts the key and data. The guy waiting for a mod chip for PS3 will be waiting a while.
  5. Sorry about the wait. I highly recommend doing your caliper overhaul at the same time. Saves time, hassle and $$
  6. The good news is that you don't need a new battery or alternator. The tension on your fan belt is incorrect. It probably needs a little tighten. My R32 did exactly the same thing and retensioning the belt fixed it. If you have a voltmeter, you'll notice that it squeals until the system voltage stabilises at 14V. To adjust the tension, there will be a small bolt at the top of the alternator. I think there is another at the bottom. Loosen both. Adjust the position of the top bolt until the tension is set correctly. Tighten both bolts. Check tension. Start motor. Viola. FYI: Used RB alternators are around $90
  7. Zac @ Slidewize does Yahoo every day. He has a trader section and helped me with some sideskirts from Yahoo JP. As it is his business he charges a fee, so if Maxx or someone can help with mates' rates... HTH
  8. Heya Ben I know mate, I know. Hey looks like we're moving to BN CEN at the end of the year. Hope you're doing well. And yep, priced to sell sadly.
  9. R33s have an electronic speedo right?
  10. G'day Subie, I love your car! But I'm afraid I can't work a trade as I need the dollars to buy a Liberty for my better half. It's a shame because this car would be a great base car if you wanted to throw more $$ at it for Autosalon or something.
  11. G'day Cliff, welcome to SAU. It is as safe as anywhere else (eBay etc.). There are trader ratings same as eBay feedback and some guys have a straigh shooters list in their sig for deals they have done that went well. I've only had one annoying deal (in nearly 50 over 3 years), and it was because Aus Post stuffed up. If you use registered post you know the goods were mailed. If you don't use registered post (heck it's only $2.50) then you are rolling the dice. 99% of the guys and girls here are excellent value and will take good care of their skyline brethren. If you're not sure, pay higher prices from a store. Simple as that! Oh yeah, dude you'll have an easier time here if you spell words properly. The SMS type is really annoying and people will generally ignore your posts when u type sumfin lik dis. Cheers! Mark

  15. I copped a ticket for overstaying a 1h parking spot. I overstayed because my wife was in labour and the spot was the closest one (about 500m from the hospital!). That had knobs on it; I wrote a letter in, included my daughters birth certificate (!) yet with all the love in the world the IPB jerks came back with harden up champ. Get a real job.
