  1. Ah good old ebay products. I still reckon the wifi spray was the best one. Spray this magical potion around your house to make your wireless network work better. White spray bottle with wifi spray written on it....
  2. Just for reference I am currentley making a bit over 400hp on a stock fuel system, and thats the fuel system limiting the power not the engine set-up, it's been tuned so it's 'safe' but I need to put in a fpr just for the extra saftey net and will need to upgrade injectors and pump before I can make anymore power. Thats all on a 33 though so not sure if it's exactly the same as the 32????
  3. It's not really about Max HP it's more about how much money do you want to spend and how much HP do you want? As far as i'm concerned with enough money you can have whatever HP you want (realistic) in whatever car you want. If you just wanna check out stuff for your car, check the forced induction section they have stickies with peoples mods and power output, or cruise around the parts suppliers websites, HKS, Apexi, Tomei etc. Personally I am currentley makin about 400hp at the wheels, if I wanted to bump it up to 600 say I would have to go to aftermarket turbos and a bigger fuel system.....more to the point you need numbers to aim for
  4. hmmm, I thought it was out the front of the new Mill Park Library but I just looked at it again and it's not so I dunno
  5. Just like the rest of Fed Square.... Has anybody seen those signs on the hume hwy into melbourne that give you the distance to fed square? Like anybody cares Rant over
  6. Yep Ronin is right, I think it is more one of those things though if you get done for it your really being picked on as most of the time all they care about is noise and cat..... Oh by the way I love your car it looks awesome, I was at the supra dyno day with Haydon the other week. Where bouts did you take the photo of it in you sig, wanna know if it's where I think it is
  7. I think the RedBack exhausts are black from memory. There an australian company though I dunno weather they do a system for Skylines though?
  8. Maybe I just been lucky, fingers crossed it stays that way Isn't it supposed to be so people can "watch out for you" because you haven't had much driving experience, kinda like a learner on L's only more advanced
  9. One of my mates is organising the same sort of thing with the Vic Supra Club. Could be interesting to have both groups there at the same time. Just a thought anyway
  10. Firstly I presume this is the power steering return line as I can't exactly see where it goes into the rack correct me if I am wrong. What I was actually gonna ask any of you guys had problems with these lines leaking where they go from a solid line to a flexible one? Because every single joint leaks like a sive on my car (just bought the car and noticed it dropping a bit of oil so thought I would check it out). The flexible hoses have these gay little clamps on them which is obviuosly the problem with stuff getting older. It's nothing major just a pain more than anything on a new car, now I will have to replace everything with aircraft grade stuff from work Apologies for the crappiness of the photos, there off my phone, brother has my camera. Kyle
  11. Yep, Not for much longer though Yeah I do have friends also on their p's that are pulled over ALOT, though they have been done in the past for doing burnout's and 'hooning' and such which I don't think helps. But yeah I do agree that P platers are targeted more, it's all about being discrete when your being illegal
  12. I think alot of it comes down to your driving style also. If you drive like a tool your attracting attention to yourself. The only times I have ever been pulled over have been because I am doing something wrong (and I do spend ALOT of time on the road) not because of the car I am driving. I haven't been pulled over for upwards of a year now in any of my cars. Just my 2 cents
  13. I've got ZE326's on my commodore and i've done almost 100,000k's on them and there only about 50% worn Can't imagine the ZE329's would be any better. Wouldn't be recommending them for a performance car but for a runabout there the bomb cos you never need to replace them
  14. Aircraft Engineer for Qantas, Currently in my 3rd year of a 4 Year Apprenticeship
  15. Could you get a GTR with factory driving lights?
  16. Recentley purchased a R33 GTR There's a switch in the centre console just aft of the shifter, inbetween the GTR badge and the coin holder? it's got like a '=D' except with a line through the 2 lines and roman numerals I and II on each side? I'm pretty sure its a factory switch. What does it do or is it supposed to do cos it don't seem to do anything for me and I can't find a reference to it anywhere. Kyle
  17. Hey guys I'm sure this has probally been asked a 1000 times but i can't seem to find much on it for this car. Car is an R33 GTR, it's not a daily driver and I want to start using it on the track so I want the set-up to be a bit more 'livley' if you know what i mean What sort of caster/camber/toe settings should I be aiming for? Tyres: 255/40R17 all round on 17x10 Rims Distance from hub to guard: Front: 245mm Rear: 255mm It has adjustable bushes all round and an adjustable sway bar on the rear with height and damper adjustabe shocks all round. Thanks Heaps Kyle
  18. For those of you interested I ended up getting the car shipped, so it should be here end of next week sometime Now all I have to do is find out how to join sau vic and i'm set
  19. The engine is about 5000K old and yes there are reciepts for everything.
  20. Yeah I have already organised it to be covered by the racv who covers nationally through nrma and such. My thoughts were to just run a very low boost setting and take it easy. Freighting it wouldn't really be a problem I have somewhere to store it indefinatley in Brisbane, I just haven't been able to find a freight company that either specialises in these type of cars or I would trust to move it.
  21. Hey Guys, I'm a long time reader but never posted much on this forum. I will be flying up to brisbane this week to buy a GTR and am undecided as weather or not to drive it back or just get it shipped. The actual driving doesn't worry me it's more will the car be alright doing the trip. The car is modified and has recentley had an engine rebuild. Any opinions would be greatley appreciated.
  22. Cruise will be starting at 7pm on the top level of the Glen Carpark in Glen Waverley and going up round the Dandenongs to Kinglake then back to the Maccas on the Hume Hwy in Campbellfield. Everybody is invited to join in. As the name GloCruise suggests the theme of the cruise is "rice lights" so come show us what you`ve got. http://www.katech.com.au/glowcruise.pdf
