  1. I met him at the drags a while back, he's not a bad guy in person and he was racing hahaha Though he seems to be very much under the impression da GTR can never lose hahahaha I was hoping to show him what a old gtst can do once i'm back, why should you guys have all the fun Oh and mate i'm real happy with my chosen motorsport, I'd probably get sea sick just watching you guys go around all those corners, its got me stuffed what they're even doing on a race track hahaha cough and the BU5TER has no engine at the moment cough
  2. Silly silly wreckedhead, whats doing talking it up with team trackday, stick to the drags where your doing ok as these guys will eat you alive
  3. hahaha and 2004 is the year of 2RISMO, damn I just realised we rock cough I would of near given my left testy to have ran a 1.6 60ft cough hahahah
  4. mate I was showing people that you don't have to do a sub 2.0 60ft to run 11's hehehe
  5. damn why not let the tyres down more and go for a 1.5 its easy hahahaha
  6. RWD over 2400cc, 10th position is 11.831 http://www.hpi.com.au/drag_records.php
  7. I'll take it and organise mine for you, pm me your mobile and I'll call you Brett
  8. yep Steve I don't think its the power that kills them its the torque from the 3L
  9. rofl true true I was thinking the same thing, I've got a nice pair of 26x10.5x15 Mickey Thompson ET Streets sitting pretty in my garage, just waiting for when I'm back hahaha
  10. Clint the OS gearset is around $4000 I think, but I'm sure I read that its still not strong enough for the torque a 3.1L would produce at 450-500rwkw and the pfitzner at $7000 is probably a touch to dear so I guess back to which auto is proven
  11. mmm so far C4 which I've noticed Rigoli like to use on the big R33's they build so they must be able to be adapted Trimatic, I think I've read of skylines running them I think the standard auto is Jatco? or could use one out of a VL? all of the above would have to be built though to suit the HP and I'd say use transbrake and stall converter What about the standard box (manual) being built as a dog box like Rigoli offer here http://www.rigoliracing.com.au/Gearsets.htm Has anyone had any experience with the above?
  12. with the car seeing a bit of street driving aswell wouldn't a 3 speed be a better choice then the 2 speed glide?
  13. Rick is this the T88 powered RB30/26 you were telling me about, aimed at drags
  14. benm have you ever had a look at a mickey thompson ET Street?
  15. and no they're not a radial tyre which is what Benm means by street tyre I'm pretty sure
  16. True rev though I thought using nitrous was illegal to use on the street and would become very very expensive if you tried to use it all the time, my 11 sec car is an 11 sec car when ever and where ever I want it to be Yes I do agree it is at the strip or track but just having the power at the strip or track may not suit every one, like myself who enjoys the power all the time Once you've actually owned a GTST that runs 11's at 128mph without gas you might understand where i'm coming from as theres nothing like knowing you've got the power when ever and where ever you may need it
  17. rev damn that must of near killed you, did you post a time at all?
  18. Maybe the wrong choice of word on my part, I meant I like my power all the time not JUST when I'm at the drags where does he state he wants a quick fix? Once again I meant I like modifications that I gain from every time I drive the car, so I can enjoy the power all the time I was only giving my perspective as you said and I was stating no it hadn't really in my mind as I like an 11 sec car all the time not only some of the timeNo use in getting upset though, we can all have different opinions
  19. rev210 you had most of that stuff didn't you? maybe with the exception of drag radials and did you crack an 11? or 12.5 without drag radials?
  20. I was giving Adrian tips damn it hahaha, just wish i'd listened to my own advice when I was racing hahaha
  21. you the man mate
  22. Standard turbo good for 11's and 330rwkw standard motor who said the Supra's were better built cars hahaha
  23. damn standard internals
  24. Nah Adrian I still think its false power because you can't use it all the time and don't think adding it to a car would add value to the car the way a after market turbo kit would, but if its just a quick fix and fast time you want its the way to go for sure, but as you know I'm a mod person so we'll all have different opinions which is fair enough Brett
