Its to unfair to the guys running radial tyres to be compared to slicks of any kind weather they're dot rated or not, there should be a radial tyre list and a non radial tyre list

I think start a different list for slicks would be better

Chris that graph shows the TD06SH 25G at about 450ps, I was making 330rwkw = 430rwhp say allowing 80hp for loss to the rear wheels I'd be guessing that its making something like 510-520hp at the motor and my turbo is a TD06H 25G which isn't listed at all, I've never thought of that graph to be very accurate

And what times has he ran to prove he's actually getting grip at the strip to really test the clutch out? or is the fact he's got no traction at the strip let his single plate grip enough to not to fail

Chris I was talking to the owner of this car on Saturday, its the blue R33 GTST with GTR front gaurds with Street Machines sign wrote all over it, he was running nitrous and Mickey Thompson ET street slicks, pretty damn nice set up car ran constant 10.97-10.94's all week end

Yep I've got one pair on my 17" Volk TE37's rear (everyday wheels), and another pair on the 16" R32 GTR rims (drag rims), I have found them to be great grip wise as what ever I can do at the stripp I can near do on the street if needed, though they wear out pretty damn fast

Mate wake up, for what a stock as a rock 93-94 R32 GTR was costing a year ago, I was able to buy a modded off its tits 1996 R33 gtst, and trust me when I say no GTR with a few mods like you quoted comes any where near me time wise down the 1/4 The GTR can never lose can it? hahaha

oi hehehe whats with the oi's I sort of agree with Merli, whats the use in having all that power if you can only use it on a dyno, I'm not just talking about Autostyle cars though I'm talking about modded cars full stop People seem to build monster cars spending a small fortune but don't budget for the gearbox aswell, sort of a waste of time as in the end they'll always blame the fact of slower times or not racing at all on there gear box, why have such big power if you really can't use it? A quote I read in HPI once that I thought hit the nail on the head "Just because you can afford to buy a GTR doesn't mean you can afford to own one" sort of the same thing goes with modded cars in my opinion though if dyno days and all talk and no action is what does it for you, go for it as long as your happy doing what you do, each to there own I guess Brett
