check the tightness of the BOV....could have something to do with revs dropping after acceleration.

sorry to be a hassle mate, but would you be able to take a pic of how much height clearance you get over the plenum/throttle intake. I've got an rb25 in my 32 and its hard to find a strut brace with enough clearance. Thanks Oh, and i'll grab a rear brace too..!

I live in a very wealthy part of Melbourne, not becase i'm wealthy, but because my folks wanted to get me out of a shithole called footscray which was ruining out lives. Having said that, i see alot of kids these days whose parents buy them expensive cars for their first. eg. HSV grange (P-Plater), brand new MX-5, one kid even got a CLK320. These kids may not ever appreciate what they have, but whose to say they wopn't appreciate the values of hard work either? their parents would have had to work their arses off to get where they are, doesn't necessarily mean the kids are a bunch of f*kn retards who don't know the meaning of a days work. I'm not a fan of parents buying theirs kids cars, especially high-powered cars, be they expensive or not. I'd rather the kid is bought, or buys him/herself, a $1000 shitbox and drvie it til it dies. But if the parents wanna buy them a car, let them. Like said above, would u say no if your parents gave you the keys to an R34 skyline? he got the car pretty stock, but it seemed to be making alot more power than it should have. It was hella quick on 14-16psi (was spiking), but it was pinging at about 5500rpm. You could feel the car pull, but it was screamin at the same time. Not good for the engine. I think his car pulled 140 or so RWKWs on 12 psi. the turbo didn't last long at all.

a mate of mine used to run 14psi in his stock 32 - that turbo blew up in 6 months and the exhaust fin now resides in the cat. To be safe i reckon 12psi should do it.

looks like e new pulsar to me... doens't look great but will prob get used to it when it comes out...just like everything else....

Well just to let you all know VicRoads bent me over yesterday and gave it to me. After not having the car on the road for a number of months, fixing this n that and getting her all schmick, i took her to Vic Roads yesterday to get a new rego. Had all the necessary documentation - car receipt, engine receipt (RB25DET), RWC everything. After a whole lot of waiting around, the lady comes back and says to me - "Sorry, but we can't register your car today. We're worried it doens't comply with Vic Roads standards - no chassis number stamped on shell, no books, manuals in cabin etc." WTF? I tell her the cars been here 6 years (complied 1999) - its got plates, side indicators, intrusion bars and all, but she wouldn't had a bar of it Bottom line, they won't register my car, i gotta wait for a letter that tells me to bend over again. :bs!: Anybody know the process from here on? How long til this letter gets here? Everytime Vic Roads is involved its a :kick:
