  1. Holy crap that looks sweet . You have out done your self Brad, the work man ship of the cage is second to none. The wife and i have made a few trips down to look at the progress and believe me the 7 hr round trip is worth it. I can not wait to get back to work on it and get it finished. A big thanks goes out to you Brad for all the hard work that has gone into this cage to squeeze a 6 3" person into a japanese car with plenty of room around my helmet, cheers mate.
  2. I think red buddy.
  3. Are these the correct licenses? Do we just need the club one, or do we need the national and the medical? Links to licenses Is this the link to the permits? Link to permits Cheers
  4. Ryan will be busy, just one thing tho my car is not finished yet and i have not lodged the Cams forms will that matter?
  5. Fingers crossed this might be the first outing in the new car. woohooo
  6. Do you know the rod length of them then? Also do you know the CC's of both the 25 and 26 heads? so i can start working out comp ratios etc. Thanks for the help.
  7. Correct, between the std rods and ring lands the rod bolts will do bugger all.
  8. I have also been looking into this for a while and I am keen to hear peoples experiences. Adz is running a 2.8 set up in his Rb25 block I think it is a response monster. I am also keen to get the con rod lengths of both the RB25 and the RB26 engines so I can look at the different rod ratios.
  9. what part or all of it?
  10. Bump, offers are welcome.
  11. Is this the first time you have checked it? or have you been monitoring the movement? It might be a silly question but what type of timing belt are you using? and how old is it? If you are really worried about it why don't you use a dial indicator and check when you piston is at TDC to verify your marks etc? then you may be able to adjust your marks on your front cover to suit exactly. Have fun.
  12. Bov gone, all PM's replied.
  13. Thanks for the kind words guys. Chris, it went well mate Brad has been putting heaps of thought into this one to accommodate for my height. I sat in the passenger seat of Jays new car and my head was hitting every where (but that seat could be lowered another 80mm or so). Then when I sat in mine you could appreciate the little extra bits that will make my cage usable for me . All things going well it will be back in my shed next Sunday night if not it will be the following weekend. Then I will be flat out through Nov and the start of Dec, and I might try to get it out for a sly track day before Santa comes. It was good to see ya all yesterday, we will all have to sign up for heaps of track time in 2010 hell yer
