Paul its not a good turbo for a rb20 to big to slow (response wise) if you want lag then a big woosh of boost then...., and you would have to change your exhaust manifold to suit a t4 instead of t3, it also doesnt appear to have split pulse on it, and where is the Garret embossing.

No the drop in replacement for R12 is R49 iso. Or 409 which is not really a car gas but can still be used just as well. The problem with converting to 134a is not the particles its the fact it eats the rubber o rings out, due to different make ups.

or the other option is to get a import motor to replace yours, or just a reco job with out the extra bits... Good luck motor rebuilds suck. Done the mini a few times now, just because its a mini doesnt mean its not a pain, so small and fiddly. Good quote though
