I have been looking into this as well, my choices are a gcg with vg30 rear housing or a gt3040, then build from that. Should not have to change internals with either one of these and push up to the 260rwkw

12 volt dc 10amp (normal dash lights) dropped to 1.5 volts (LED) 1mA something like that so you will need to find out the total power draw should be 10 amps but that will be total in dash draw so you will have to match that to stop the leds blowing up due to high voltage and high amp's.
