    yes. yes you get flames. Big flames. about 3 feet long, a nice orange blue... stainless dump, trust front, trust 'racing cat' , 4" trust to straight through system... standard ECU. Between gears 1-2 and 2-3 at night the whole surrounding area lights up like a lightening strike... of course i now have a cat PS loud... try 102dB on for size at 3000rpm, imagine at redline!
  5. umm, i think they use an agent through the engine, they don't just fire the bugger up dry and run it for 20 mins...

  8. would have thought it would be the same as GTS-ts - the two separate high and low beam indicate that there is only one fillament in each. The only (modern) type globes i know of that use one fillament are H1 and H3 - though H3 has a wire coming off them... i guess they'd be the same as the gtst - H1.
  9. If you're worried about bits of crap left in the motor, get an engine flush done at a shop; i have my car serviced by a mate who is a mech at Honda; at their workshop they ran a engine flush through mine for about 20 mins... works wonders
  10. double clutch the when just driving around normally. This gives the synchros in the 'box time to 'catch up' and should give you less wear. Then when you're going for it, you can just plain shift - just gives your synchros a longer life. Get the double clutch tech right and you will use it all the time; my old BM had a dodgy 'box and i had to double clutch all the time - now it is second nature... and yes, you can shift (almost) as fast... still throws flames between gears too

  12. rev210, my full exhaust and intake give me 10psi, if the stock ECU retards the timing, how can i fix this? Can i physically increase the timing and is this safe? Cheers

  14. All this talk of removing on a 33... are we sure we WANT 13-14psi on the stock turbo? I've read so much about stockers only holding safely around that figure, why would you want to remove the alleged restrictor?
  15. What are the widths and offsets of the rims? will they fit an R33 GTS-t? And how long can you wait? I can give you an answer in about a week.

  17. Inasnt, we went the GOR last monday, went to Port Campbell and back taking long breaks at lorne, pt campbell and then lorne again on the way back. We left at 8 and got back at 6, can do it easily
  18. By the sounds of your desciption it is a locker; the clicking/gripping you hear is the back wheels skipping due to the difference in speed between the two arcs drawn by them. It is easier to replace the whole diff than the gearset. Don't know what the locker is worth but i'd be willing to swap for my std LSD + cash

  20. Try, interested in the cooler; won't fit on the stock intake plenum though? Will have to have custom intake side pipe made up? PS what is the deal with the gauges?

    inasnt, mine is 20%, you've seen it. If you have a crash, just peel and hey presto, gone!
  23. McCracken, I think stainless is good for the dump as it has better high temp resistance, but they can crack. I can't remember what grade doesn't crack... inasnt, wanna help us out on this one? Just a note also, bear in mind that cost is one thing; i would much rather spend the extra 20/30/40 bucks if it guarantees that the flanges are flat, it doesn't touch the body, doesn't rattle etc etc. That is mainly the reason i got a jap exhaust. This is not to say the local product is no good, just look at inasnt's exhaust - custom made and fine.
