Hello there, I was cleaning the inside of my windscreen when I bumped the mirror. Didn't think much of it until I went to drive the car and the mirror started drooping. Must of bumped it a bit to hard cause it had pulled the mirror out of its socket (which broke) on the bit that is glued to the screen, which means I' m having to buy a new complete unit. Is the wires coming out the back of it to do with the key fob? I had it disconnected and nothing would work when I used the fob. Will I either have to change the mirror or reprogram the sender if that is the case?

Hi, what is it like when you put it in drive and press the fast pedal? -

They used to be on TV here in NZ last season. I'm not sure what engine they ran but I think they used the Merc engine which could of been the 2LTR Turbo. (Please correct me if I'm wrong.) -

What does everyone think of the new Z?
doggido replied to Shoota_77's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Looks typical Z Car in the side profile but I think the front and near should of kept and updated the Z Car styling concerning the lights. -
Are you changing all the badges and how long did it take to align the lettering?

I see that they are using the Q50 in the BTCC.

It was just a thought that it could of been another way of getting air into the engine but will keep an open mind on other options.

Na, pistols! Have seen the set up on a V36 & thought, "that looks kinda neat and tidy!", wondering how that would look on my engine. Wouldn't it give a more even & better air flow to the engine?

Hi' Has any one changed the single air intake to a duel system on a V35 sedan with the 3.5? If so, how so & what have you used?
-
Managed to pry it off okay and here is what I found. I don't know what it from nor where it was suppose to go so I just taped the end and tucked it away then replaced the cover.
-
Here is the reason I need to remove it.
-
How does one remove the cover off the passenger side A pillar?

The rear looks like any other Japanese car that is out at the moment. Least the front looks aggressive. Round rear lights have been out for a while!

The reason I ask is because I was talking to a guy who owns a pre-facelift V35 & told me he has paddle shift.
-
When were paddle shifters installed?

Get the 350GT! It's really good on gas & when you give the throttle a bust it just takes off! It's comfy, quiet & easy to drive.

That's what I'll be requiring eventually. But I don't think that I will need the A/C controls; just use the original set.

Wasn't to bad if you knew where you were going. Used to live up there a wee while ago. A good couple of hours to get from Drury to the end of the north-western motorway on the way up. Was trying to get at least on the north-western before 3.30pm but we arrived at the start of the southern motorway at that time. We stayed at Kumeu for the 1st 2 days.

Just recently got back from a weekend up in Auckland for my daughters wedding. The car performed very well, traveling around 1336km over the five days (only drove four days of it, gave it a rest 3rd day). Averaged about 11.4k/l. That includes city, Auckland motorway & open road driving. Took the Desert Road in its stride (fun, fun, fun), purred like a pussy cat, even got it up to 140kph in a couple of the long straights! It's just so easy to drive!

Service done last Monday, changed filters, plugs & other stuff. Old air filter was pretty well grotty. Is changing cabin filter part of service? Had programed 'Maintenance Schedule' on the screen so it should reminded me when the next is due.
