  3. Thanks for the quick replies. I think they have been spoken for now. I will reply in order of response soon. I should have a pump. By the way, all Nissan pumps in the era that are non-hicas RWD are the same. It's only the fittings that are different.
  4. Hello everyone, I'm looking at moving soon and need to get rid of my RB30 collection. Wide range and condition, many of which I have forgotten already. Some have missing sensors but I imagine most people would be interested in just the bottom end only for a hybrid. Please get in touch with me as soon as possible if you would like one, otherwise it is going to be scrapped. Email: eiji.wakamatsu(at)hotmail.com Phone: O4O3 216 47O

  11. Yoh Drift King! Unfortunately you're probably better off going to Wakefield for skids.
  12. Pretty sure mod plates are specific to the state of Queensland. I haven't heard of NSW, ACT or VIC having mod plates. Did you ever meet Rob's mate Ben? He works at Vehicle Safety Standards and from what I recall him saying, it is up to each state or territory to manage their own legislation about vehicle modification. So you'll probably need to ask someone at RegoACT. However since the R32 did come with a RB25 variet, it may be one of the modifications that do not require certification.
  13. Don't bother lightening it. You'll just have a weakened fly wheel. Also I've been told it is more difficult to drift with.
  14. Yes, sell me the RB25

It has been decided, engine pooped in the R32 so I'm going in the Silvia. See you guys there. P.S. I'll bring the R31 Skyline Club banner for the R31's
  16. I won't do it this weekend, doing Motorkhana on Sunday. But I was close to driving out that way last weekend (Canberra long weekend) until the R32 engine died while out and about. Anyway that got me wondering if any of the roads up there had been closed from the recent rain? A majority of the fun roads were closed and we found out for good reason.
  17. Yoh Stephan, I've got one, it's connected up to a TechEdge meter. What are you connecting up to?
  18. Just wondering if anyone has a cheap RB25det laying around they want to offload. I'm pretty sure I lost a bearing last night in the R32, so I'm looking for a cheap 25 to get me going again. I only really need a long motor as I can transfer all my gear across but I'm happy to pay a little extra for my laziness. Otherwise I might try to replace the bearings in situ.
  19. A few people turned up last night. Still out numbered by Silvia's .
  20. What pipes? Ebay cheapies suck. I have a set and they don't work or fit well. Just keep it standard unless you get a GTR setup.
  21. Minispool (LSD, I think KAAZ only make them, if you can afford it) Clutch (Be careful what you choose) S13 Lower Control arms 2nd hand spring and good shock combo That's probably what I would do for a cheap R31 setup. Later with more money add Coilovers, castor arms, hydro handbrake. Even later on a RB25DET conversion. RB30ET in my opinion is not worth it compared to the cost of a RB25 these days. Don't worry about big builds/power unless you want to compete in Australia. A stock engine has enough power with the usual mods. If you want pointers on your drifting, or just something to start practising let me know. I'm still learning but I did receive what I consider bad advice when I was starting off.

  23. Nissan parts will sell them and every time I have ever went to purchase one they have been in stock. It's not the name but the part number you want to quote to Nissan. You could try ebay as well: http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m570.l1313&_nkw=rb25+turbo+gasket&_sacat=See-All-Categories However Cooma Diesel, the people that rebuilt my old turbo, said to use Garrett gaskets. They said the Nissan ones are prone to blow outs due to the multilayer design. The single layer Garrett ones are a lot cheaper and haven't failed me yet. The shop is in Fyshwick, they have replacement gaskets in stock, just take a sample.
  24. Surprisingly it might not be raining tomorrow night...
  25. Damn it, missed out
