  1. Seems like the rules/legislation is changing fairly quickly Some information about traffic infringements can be found here: http://www.rego.act.gov.au/infringements/infringedemerit.htm Another place to check out is TAMS and Legislation ACT about rules, laws and policy: http://www.tams.act.gov.au and http://www.legislation.act.gov.au/ I "think" the new hoon law gives police the right to take your car if they think your a hoon. Generally things like really excessive speed, burnout, street racing will give the police an excuse to take your car. My advice is to be polite and don't admit to anything unless they have evidence.
  2. I think it's called the "Dent King". One of my mates knows him, I think he is on the North side of Canberra. Might be this one, but it only has contact details for QLD - http://www.dentking.com.au/about.htm
  3. Yeh, it's Lonsdale street. I'm going to park a bit away and walk in.
  4. Have fun guys, I'll be at Oran Park having more fun .
  5. 1 vote for CAS. Give me a buzz if you want to test it out. I should have a spare CAS you can test out but I want a retainer because someone else on here didn't end up returning my ignition module. Beside that, I have a few other spares that you can test as well.
  6. Some sample photos I'll put more photos up later on the Team Red Stage blog .
  7. Yeh, i've got no idea. I've spoken to a few of them before. I can try and contact someone there but they would be at a disadvantage if we drive skylines there . I was considering going there and taking photos.
  8. Just wondering if this was still on cos I saw something interesting that CCG were doing on the same day.
  9. I'm planning to go and take photos. I'm not going to get there that early tho .
  10. Started playing COD4 again after MW2 came out. So disappointed there are no dedicated servers on PC and it's a XBox port so I never ended up buying a copy. Still waiting for Starcraft 2 to come out.
  11. I think I might have some lower control arms for a R33. Not sure what condition they are in.... I can check for you if you like.
  12. Hey guys, I've got a post up about yesterday's Motorkhana - http://teamredstage.wordpress.com/2009/11/...otorkhana-sdtc/
  13. So, your saying something like: Cruise/BBQ on 20 December. Start from Weston Creek down to Googong. BYO car. This is not a race, hoon will not be tolerated ?
  14. I like this one! Where were the photos taken?
  15. Lol, I have a engine crane but it's being borrowed at the moment. Where are you located?
  16. Thinking about it. Weather is kinda cold tho...
  17. I can only think of Lake Tuggeranong and Lake Ginninderra, except both are a little dangerous because of the hidden trolleys in the water.
  18. I went down to Winton yesterday for VicDrift - Drift Attack. Photos and write up is now on the Blog: http://teamredstage.wordpress.com/2009/11/...ft-final-round/
  19. Damn! It's the last one too, hmm.... decisions.
  20. Your build is very cool. Sorry I can't provide any advice. I'm trying to keep my car more standardish to keep reliability and sanity! I'll be passing through Albury this saturday..... I'm not sure how much time I'll have though.
  21. I went, not many Supra's at all . Teon, you were going very well. Maybe you should consider upgrading to a Skyline soon.
  22. Probably fitting a gearbox. Might take the car for a spin if we get it done early enough.
  23. Looks fun! Although i'm probably more interesting in taking photos than jumping in the lake at the moment.
  24. I might come and take some photos.
  25. You can get some good deals with clutches online. Clutches are not difficult to install but I've only replaced push type clutches before. I'm not sure but I think R34 might run a pull type? I can give you a hand with doing one if the weather is good. You will also need to get the flywheel machined, which might be difficult on the weekend. I can probably come round after work one night and pull it out quickly if all goes smoothly. That way you can machine it on a weekday and get it back in sooner. From what I've seen and heard, is that I would recommend against buying a cushion button. The design could have changed since I last looked but on the exceedy and extreme clutches I was looking at, the rivets on the clutch plate were smaller or few than either the heavy duty organic and solid button clutches. I was going to go for a cushion button initially but went for a solid button due to this issue.
