the sub is a little 8" in a tube like some kinda bazooka sub its not very powerful the amp im looking at getting will probably be 400-500 watts so the REM cable doesn't matter much? it's more the gauge of the power cable? what happens with the fuse as well?

The subwoofer I have has a built in amp. If I buy an amp to power my speakers, how do I wire that up? Can I just split the power and the REM and connect one to the sub and one to the amp, or do I need to run two power cables, and two REM cables? Thanks.
