Try a different Nissan dealer, they are usually able to get any part for imported cars. So repco couldn't get the rb25 alternator?

Blanket bans definitley weren't the smartest things ever thought up. The Daihatsu Copen is banned in from P platers in NSW because it's turbo. All Turbo-Diesel cars are are also banned the same way. They need to make a more concise list like Victoria already has, some of the cars that are banned from P platers in NSW would be traffic obstructions without the turbo.

It's probably like the NSW law, people that already have their licence/car can probably continue to drive them, but not people who get them after the law is introduced.
