I would be limiting the amount of driving your doing dude, this sounds potentially terminal.
104rwkw for an r33 gtst would set alarm bells ringing in anyones ears
RX engineering is very good. But they mostly specialise in rotors. Meh i'm sure they will be able to identify the problem. Good luck.
I think the excess airflow protection is commonly refered to as boost cut as turning up the boost generally results in more airflow.
But yes I whole heartedly agree with you.
Why do people always add "mate" when they are pissed off?
I wasnt actually refering to your haggle of $50
I was making an offer on the CD player! My offer was $50.
You see I was trying to make funny?
Anyways as soon as I read it back I realised that it looked like i was abusing your bid and that is not what i had in mind!
My apologies for the misunderstanding. Original post edited!
oh and yes I do pour lots of money in to my car, thanks for noticing
uh huh
so your saying that the factory ecu doesnt have excess airflow protection which when detected will dump the timing and run rich to protect itself?
lol...
Well light fingered would still have worked but fingered is just better.
On a serious note.
I would fully expect a workshop to pay for anything that gets taken from my car whilst in their care.
yeah it sounds like an exhaust gasket to me (i have done one before)
I would be careful handing over any dosh for a blown turbo before getting an indpendent second opinion.
Yeah sounds like it will be a good night!
I'm having dinner in Manuka but i'll be there after i'm finished.
With all reports you should be able to hear me coming from about 10kms away.
Shutup i knew that!
lol...
Wel then they should be pretty easy to fix. If your out this friday i'm sure many would be happy to point and make comments.
Trojan...
No e involved pal!
And yes that 33 is sexy. He is a member on here but he hasnt posted for a few months and he was at the shannons show at the lake when we all went.
There is a whole section on tech/repairs etc.
However I might be able to help but it would be good to know if your car is an R31,32,33,34?
And the park lights are the only ones not working?
