  1. @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
  2. The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
  3. I've always wondered why my brothers BMW is louder in Eco mode. Do they have e-gates from factory?
  4. Wish I had this advice when I did my pump. It went in and out 3 or 4 times, and on the last time it snapped.
  5. I looked for a bit too when I first got mine and never found any for less than that either. There is one on ebay for 300ish right now though: Nissan Skyline R34 ER34 Front Grill Grilles Chrome Genuine 4Door Sedan | eBay
  6. If you are fine with China turbos, Maxpeedingrods makes a bolt on turbo. Ive had mine for two summers now and it seems to be holding up ok.
  7. Any chance the zero demand ignition table is messed up? Or possibly the minimum tps for it to engage zero demand?
  8. Possibly my oem fuel reg was already shot when I put the 255 pump in, but yeah it wouldn't come down lower than 50psi I think. Drilled out, then bypassed the venturi, didn't help either. edit: its also hardwired, no variable voltage thing anymore
  9. I had to get an aftermarket pressure regulator when I switched to a walbro 255 in my R34. I couldn't get the idle pressure to come down without it, and it was causing a rougher idle as well, although not to the point of stalling.
  10. Yep, poor man’s IC7
  11. I just ordered a double din android head unit that can display engine parameters with a obd2 scanner. I have a Haltech though, so I don't know if the stock ecu can do this?
  12. I only put in a 255. Yeah I thought it was strange too. I had seen lots of posts on here saying the stock reg was good for mild pump upgrades. Possibly the oem fpr was clapped the entire time and I only checked fuel pressure after installing a new pump
  13. When I did my walbro swap, my base fuel pressure increased by about 10psi, which could affect fueling a bit. I had to get an aftermarket fpr bring it back to normal pressures
  14. Lol I hope to take it out this weekend and rip it around. I’m curious to see how far off my fuel map is now that I’m running 10psi less base pressure. I do need to get a pressure sensor next season to keep an eye on it.
  15. FIXED I installed the new fpr and turned it down to 43 psi. Idles nicely at 38ish psi now with the vacuum line attached. thanks for the help!
