  1. i'm thinking 32psi is well beyond the safe limit for those turbos too. after all, they are made by mitsubishi, which is the exact same place mine are from.. and mine would be pushing shit up hill go above 18psi, let alone 30+

  3. thats a 275 on a 9", doesnt look "gay" to me. it also depends on the tyre brand, as those same rims had 235's on them when i got rid of them, and the 8" front looks fine, the 9" rear is stretched a little.

  5. the 335 uses twin TD03's.. like my legnum. unfortunately they run out of puff very quickly, which is something that will happen with smaller turbo's... my peak power is at 5500rpm, but its very torquey up until that point.
  6. at least it will be responsive with the 'stock' turbo. that's plenty of clearance, but then it does have a lot bigger bay than the 32.. i heard a rumour you were selling it and buying a legnum though? something about being a better car???

  10. leggy isnt that hard to work on.. it looks very crammed from factory, but once you actually take a few intake pipes and the covers off, theres not that much in there. just did a manual conversion in a mates legnum this weekend, went ahead without any issues. started yesterday, was driving it today.

  13. i'm trying to find the pic of the first leggy i saw.. i saw it and wanted one, didnt know wtf it was. black one in NZ with dark gold rims, angled pic.. do you know the one kristian?
  14. eww, i dont like the rear end of the galants. plus, quick wagon's are soooo much cooler.. nothing like blowing people away in a 'magna wagon'
  15. my lineup is a bit different... EC5W > WGNC34 Series 1 > M35 > WGNC34 Series 2 > ST215W the S1 stag's can look awesome with a good set of rims and lowered.. the S2's are just ugly all the time.
  16. legnum > stagea > caldina apparently they are laggy as shit too... and look butt ugly. leggy comes in at 1560kg too, but it is physically smaller than the stagea, inside and out.
  17. ROFL... 2x 2.5" pipes IS NOT the same as a 5" pipe. 5" == 12.7cm == cross sectional size of 126.67cm^2 2.5" == 6.35cm == cross section size of 31.67cm^2 x 2 == 63.34cm^2 thus, 4x 2.5" pipe is equivilent to a 5" pipe. the tip size will only make a difference if the original is too restrictive
  18. 60L tank, however its ~50L from full to empty on the gauge. mine often gets 450-500 km to 50L, so ~10/11L/100km. got 9.1L/100km driving down south a few months ago go.
  19. yep, 800 super vr-4's were made, only came in auto, and got a choice of silver/red. came with factory body kit, lots of red/chrome shit, recaro's, and a few other bits and pieces... and no it's not my skid, i noticed i parked right on it after i took the photo, haha.
  20. i'd take a legnum over a stagea, and no that's not because i own a legnum, i've pretty much owned both (my ex gf had a modifed stagea) they have such a smooth torquey V6, AYC is a fantastic system, the interiors are quite nice (mine has factory recaro's and carbon fibre) fuel economy is very similar between the 2 cars, its possible to get 10L/100km out of either if driven normally. best idea is to decide what you want from it, and take both from a test drive. if a relatively stock, quick wagon is what you want, go the leggy, if you want to mod the shit out of it and chuck a stroker in it, go the stagea... last time i went to the drags, i had a 3" catback, and 12psi... vs. a S2 stag with 12psi, safc, fmic, pod, exhaust.. (basic RB25 mods) i did a 13.76, and the stag did mid 14's.. i did destroy an auto gearbox at the drags too, however i'm about to do a manual conversion in a mates leggy, and he has been trying for a month non stop to kill his current auto, and it WILL NOT die, limiter in neutral into drive, etc etc... it just comes down to the service history. here's my super vr-4.
