  1. as a comparison, these are my rims after powder coating.
  2. that picture is an R33 engine bay, so it has a hose running off that nipple to the electronic unit (circled) for the boost gauge in the factory cluster. the stagea however doesn't have that, so the nipple is plugged, simply remove the plug and run your boost gauge off that. the boost controller needs to be inline, between the turbo actuator, and a intake pipe pressure feed, which will likely run off your intercooler piping. i'll take some pictures tonight, as kylies has a fmic/pod/boost controller, otherwise i can give you a hand if you need it.
  3. i'm interested in this, however i'm going the other way. EVO brembo's are a direct fit onto legnum vr4's, however i've got a set of R33 GTS-T callipers in my shed that i'd like to try first. they cant be any worse than the 2 piston front/1 piston rear it currently has, and a lot cheaper for me than buying brembo's. i know the evo brembo's have 130mm between the mounting hole centres, and the 33 callipers i have are 160mm, it's just the distance between the mounting lugs and the rotor slot that i havent measured yet.
  4. you cant be serious can you? your sister is a doctor, and she told you to see one, and you know of someone who died from a similar scenario who didn't see a doctor... i'd be down the emergency ward right now, they will likely put you in a neck brace and perform x-rays.
  5. Dale told me i should come along, so i'll be there tomorrow. i'll send you a PM regarding address And.
  6. my leggy ran a 14.2 stock.
  7. i'm in rockingham, and coronas are my drink of choice.
  8. well.. it originally had a deck/amps/subs/speakers changed, and i removed the deck/amps, to rewire them as it was all over the shop. the rest of it is pretty straight forward, many a car has had its guts spread out all over our driveway.
  9. whats the caldina supposed to do on the 1/4 mile? btw, series 1 auto legnums are 191kw, the rest are 206kw.
  10. alternatively, if you dont want to pay a shop to do it, i've mucked around inside the dash of kylies stag, and can give you a hand.
  11. what are you wanting done? headunit/speakers, or custom gear?
  12. price update! $1400 is a bargain for freshly powdercoated forged rims these rims have to go as they wont fit my legnum!
  13. spotted twice now, a white S2 with big black rims and chrome dish. has the plates "RK 05 WA" i think... seen it on ennis ave at ~5pm both times.
  14. hey mark, i need an intake pipe made up. it's basically a 110 degree elbow with 2 nipple in it for vacuum hoses, any idea on a cost? here is an example of an ali one.
  15. i found it easier to take them both out in one hit too... however it's a bit of a mission getting it back in, but i reckon it would be easier than trying to re-align the shaft and re-position the motor at the same time. i got mine over the radiator support easy enough, i just crushed my power steering lines on the cross-member instead. there is a item called an engine sling you can use to change the angle of the engine by screwing the threaded section.. would definately make it a bit easier!
  16. davies craig claim the following... 12" fans use a MAX of 10.0A @ 12v, and produce 350L/sec @ 40Pa 16" fans use a MAX of 19.0A @ 12v, and produce 850L/sec @ 40Pa therefore twin 12" can use 1.0A more, but produce 150L/sec LESS.... i had twin 12" on my skyline (it seemed more sensible to spread out the air flow over the radiator) along with some amps, and never had a problem with the alternator. my legnum also has twin thermo's and amps, and a 90A alternator with no problems.
  17. the soarer going around the light, and through the posts was funny shit! gotta love the guys in charge saying "you're not really allowed to, but i want you to" when they want to cut up the grass, hahaha
  18. you only need to remove the shaft from the transfer case to the front diff, a matter of about 4 bolts i think.
  19. i know you wont stop until you have a 10. it's great you have it at a reliable stage now, and the hard work has paid off. it's definately not as easy, but ALOT more rewarding than being a cheque book modifier!
  20. unfortunately it's true... i'm definately up for seeing it on the strip, the legnum got enough looks doing a 14.2, would be great to see people's reactions to a 10 sec stag!
  21. i looked at these when i bought my legnum, didn't like the look of them.
  22. hahaha... pity you didnt get a video of it spinning the entire length of the drag strip, i'm sure that would shut up a certain "prime edition bayside blue blah blah blah stagea" owner... i've been for a ride in this thing, and i can guarantee it will throw you into the back of the wagon if you're not careful.
  23. he had it out so he could do burnouts on the supercruise too, and piss off the bogans, lol.
  24. good work! where's the soarer video? ps. hows the P/S belt going, lol
