  1. if it doesn't get resolved, try taking it to another windscreen place, and ask for their opinion on the quality of work, and give that to the installing company.. i'm sure they would love to hear what someone in their industry thinks of their work.
  2. it can be removed with the dash still in place, you just need to break one of the tabs on the plastic casing... it will still bolt back in fine however.
  3. i used auto trans to get my car from adelaide to perth, and they were good, cheapest price too!
  4. as i said before... i had teins in my 33 with 10kgmm front, 8kgmm rear.. and they were horrible.. exactly like JBird said.. couldn't put any power to the ground when there was bumps, as it just skipped and jolted all over the place i dont know how 10/10 can be fine for the street, when 10/8 were no where near streetable, people who drove behind me said they could SEE my car skipping.
  5. interesting conversion AlexCim....
  6. aren't they only bringing in a certain amount? which will make it like the R32 GTR?
  7. i passed my 33 at welshpool with alot of suspension mods.. and recently registered my legnum at oconnor. just raise your coilovers up so the car is high enough (and raise it above 100mm, as they might want to check it fully laden, which means it has to have atleast 100mm clearance with 5 people, etc in it) degrease the area's with oil leaks and if its still leaking, fix whatever it is! also, you dont have to take your car for a re-inspection after 3 weeks even though it may take 4 weeks for a permit, you have about a month after the yellow expires to either get it re-checked, or de-register it.. however you cant drive it after the yellow has expired either. quick question though... why do you need your car so low the exhaust hits the ground? bit silly i think
  8. if you sell the engine and box, that should get you your $3500 back.. rest is profit. my 33 got rear ended, and i bought it back to strip it down. i've made probably 7k, and ive still got the gearbox, diff, rims, most of the interior, etc.. if you've got the time, and not desperately after the money, i'd say go for it, its not a quick or easy job though.
  9. usually the easiest option for awd cars... will be fun when mine needs the timing belt done i was hoping there was more than 6 bolts too, seeing as the top hats and upper control arms had 6 between them
  10. he's probably got the 'superior' D10.
  11. woah! how did we miss the D10! 860cc with 25hp and 48Nm!!
  12. what about the A10? 988cc, 59bhp, 82Nm... 'nuff said.
  13. what about the GA-4? 1484cc of pure power
  14. 20yr old straight 6 with 280PS > brand new V6 with 480PS i fail to see how you all cant see why the RB26 is better.. its pretty obvious :excl: :excl:
  15. i had my rims powdercoated black at landsdale powdercoating... buy them instead of doing yours
  16. as in that picture, it is about 100mm long, and 75mm in diamter, and is attached to the drivers side strut tower. replace it with a 300zx (Z33) fuel filter, as you will likely have more chance finding one of them (should be listed in the book if they have one) and its slightly larger, but will fit the same.
  17. mines a dead stock super vr-4, except for a set of coilovers, and it handles great, and keeps up with 260RS'. the torque it puts out is unreal, feels like a small V8 rather than a twin turbo 6.
  18. do it! V6 > Straight 6
  19. wow.. i thought from the thumbnails someone resurrected my written off chassis!
  20. top one is S1 R33
  21. A not problem MATE .
  22. sorry, i should have mentioned i gave both cars a quick squirt with the hose.. but my high pressure cleaner can be run off a bucket of water, so i should really use that. it only needs a very small amount of water, basically enough to get the suds off.
  23. my car needs the back end lowered more!
  24. rofl... ok then. getting very off topic now. you could probably use even less water doing multiple cars... i used a bucket of water to clean both mine and kylies car a couple of weeks ago.
  25. yeah it would.. but to do a manual conversation you would just need a manual gts-t box.. dont need to worry about the transfer case, etc.
