  1. are you after model numbers, or just types of plugs, ie. copper/iridium? i used NKG copper plugs in my 33, and in my gf's stag, model number is BCPR6ES.
  2. if you can find a cheap 33 GTR setup you could get it re-valved, etc to suit the stag, might be worth looking into.
  3. tein would do them wouldn't they? they do them for legnums, and they are about as common as 260RS's
  4. 3 in 1 pipes? you can use a bellmouth dump/front pipe, but a split pipe is better. you can buy a 1 piece split dump and front pipe, which is probably best for a stock turbo.
  5. its a bit more than $15 if you want to race.... $40 + fuel, and there's no point going every week unless you do something every week to get a quicker time. PS. kylie has taken her stag down the plex before you even owned one mate, and no need for the smart ass comments either.
  6. no chance of fitting a RB26 into a legnum, its an east/west V6 with the gearbox in the engine bay, so no real transmission tunnel. the TT V6 in the legnum though has PLENTY of torque for towing though. or if you still want a rb26/2jz commy, go the 2JZ! OR if you will settle for a twin turbo V6, chuck a 6A13TT, or 6G72TT in it.
  7. i know i wasn't looking at the gagues (not that i was moving anyway), i was looking in the rear vision mirror watching a commodore skidding towards me at quite some speed...
  8. 1. Koenigsegg CCXR 2. Koenigsegg CCXR 3. Koenigsegg CCXR 4. Koenigsegg CCXR 5. Koenigsegg CCXR
  9. what gear are you having installed daniel? and is it just a basic install, or customing? reason being as its not too hard (i re-installed the setup in kylies stag), and if you want to save some money i can give you a hand.
  10. i've got the master from a s1 33, pm me!
  11. what he said... also for large high mount turbo's where the water cooling lines sit higher than the radiator, stopping air from sitting in the turbo.
  12. i beat the commonwhore
  13. i've got a twin turbo V6 with awd.
  14. the main reason i think it goes so well is the low down torque, it feels like a baby V8 rather than a twin turbo 6. when i first drove the car i felt disappointed by the acceleration, until i looked at the speedo and realised i was doing 120 when i thought i was going 80. while the steel wheel turbo's can take a fair bit of boost (up to ~18psi) they are only tiny TD03's, so they run out of puff quickly, and the factory boost cut is around 13-14psi, so i was trying to stay clear of that. exhaust wise i'm not sure what they sound like actually.. the engine noise sounds very grumbly though, so the exhaust is hopefully the same. also about the boost controller, i had one in my 33 holding 13psi perfectly. spiking to 1 bar sounds like you installed it backwards...
  15. stole my thunder.... i'm f**king hopeless at logging out. are you fitting that kit that was at your place over 6 months ago brad? lol
  16. yeah it does sound alright for a stock exhaust, needs to be bigger so i can get a 13 though! who was handing out the time slips too? on my 3rd run the guy that gave it too me asked if it was better than a skyline... after i just beat a R32.
  17. got a 14.2 in the wagon.
  18. 94mph hopefully it wont be long before it has a bigger fmic, exhaust, intake, safc, ebc, etc... the compliance cat is some cheap nasty item, and apparently a decent set of dump pipes really wakes the legnums up might have to chuck a high-stall in there when i pull the box out... 2500rpm launch is piss weak!
  19. whoops.... the only mod is a manual boost controller. stock exhaust, stock intake, even a crappy compliance spec cat and filter! stock boost is about 8psi, and i had it set at 12psi, but it tapers off to about 10psi higher up (I need a EBC!) the 'not much quicker' was referring to the aristo... i expected a 3L TT sedan to go more than 0.1s faster than a 2.5L TT wagon the SS wagon was also a VY, so it was only the 5.7L LS1, i'm not sure what they are supposed to do, but i know the LS2 powered utes are supposed to do ~14 flat (my old man wants to try his against the legnum ), so a LS1 wagon doing 15 sounds about right.
  20. the law actually changed at the start of the year. you are allowed up to 1.3x the largest factory width (without extending the track over 25mm, and protruding from the guards), and you are allowed any diameter as long as the rolling diameter does not change however you are not allowed staggered sizes unless it was a factory option, then you can go 1.3x whatever the front has at the front, and 1.3x whatever the rear has at the rear. so unless you own a supra or a porsche, you cant use those rims...legally
  21. 2JZ, it did a 14.1 that run, and i did a 14.6 as i turned the boost down instead of up, lol. but the next run against a skyline i did a 14.2... so not that much quicker
  22. aristo just beat me, but i flogged it off the line. ...beat a skyline though yeah the rims on that M35 were big, but they suited it
  23. heres a few pics of the M35 and commy wagon, and then the leggy! managed a 14.2 on a dead stock legnum, so i'm happy
  24. you aren't ricing up your stag are you brad? i thought you were all go and no show
