you dont 'legally' need to have a muffler.. ..however its usually illegally loud without one. as its name states, all it does is muffle the sound to a quieter volume.

its not the joint. if you have seperate dump(s), the wastegate(s) usually joins back into the exhaust after about 100mm or so.. whereas if you have a custom front/dump pipe made up, you can have the wastegate(s) join back into the exhaust alot further down, usually into the back of the bend in the front pipe.

i have a set of R33 headlights you can have.. the housing is cracked on one of them, but im pretty sure the lens are fine.

as above guys, im chasing a RB26DETT head.. something complete with intake and exhaust manifolds, possibly even turbo's would be fantastic.. a head only will be ok, but i'd really like the plenum aswell.. Also chasing a RB30 Block.. ideally one that has stock pistons/rods, etc.. but i will settle for a block alone. that said.. if anyone has any additional parts, ie single turbo high/low mount manifold, RB26/30 pistons, head gaskets. etc etc anything i may want for the build, let me know and i might take it off your hands i can also pickup from anywhere NOR/SOR, rockingham, mandurah etc.. just after a nice 26 head for a forged RB26/30 build.

ill bring the skyline out brad, so you wont feel left out if it dies. the sau cruise out to toodyay was actually pretty good.. the roads arent too bad, unless you have some stiff coilovers, but i dont think many of you guys would? however you'd have to try avoid the roadworks though kylie.. dont wanna see another slip'n'slide do we?

mine had a nice dent just behind the passenger door, just under the window from a door on a 4wd that parked next to me... how hard is it to open the door gently and get out? rather than ripping it open, and jumping out? i'm sure they wouldnt be too impressed kicked the front door of their house in..

umm.... i think it was about $300, but i bought twin 12" fans.. otherwise a single 16" is slightly cheaper..

there is 4x 8mm nuts holding it onto the pulley for the water pump. unbolt it off there, and run a electric thermo-fan instead! i just did that with mine.. just wating for the fan to arrive now.

the RB26 has a different exhaust stud pattern to the RB20/25, so you would need a custom manifold made up.

forward facing plenum + electric thermo-fan FTW! you shouldn't have to cut the blades, if you do, chances are the piping is going to be dodgy and cause other problems (the rolled lip isnt big enough and the cheap hose clamps either snap, or slip off the small rolled lips )

mm, that sounds about right, GCG highflows are usually $1900ish.. "Slide" on these forums will highflow an RB25 turbo for about $1000 if you supply the turbo, but i believe he has quite a delay..
