  1. Absolutely love this gtr!!! You have to post up more pics if you have em.
  2. Your allowed to have a pod filter her in queensland but it has to be fully enclosed.
  3. I started off owning a r32 gtst 4 door then tried a r33 gtst and after a year or so got another r32 gtst but 2 door this time. The huge difference i felt going from a 32 to a 33 then back to the 32 again was the amount of extra grunt the 33 had over the 32. The extra capacity does help. The 33 is newer as they go up to 98 so if you got a 33 they would more than likely be in better nick and be a fresher car. For me the interior and exterior of the 33 was nothing flash to look at stock and is rather boring. Too round and overly fat in my opinion. After you put a kit on it it does help a bit however i could definitly feel the extra weight it was carrying though. For me i will always love the 32 shape and style and would have one over a 33 hands down. Sure you might have more grunt out of the box for the 33 and it might be newer but if your heart is set on the looks of a 32 then i would say thats what you should get. You can always swap in a bigger engine later and still keep the sexy lines of the 32. Plus everyone seems to have a 33. just my 2 cents
  4. Yeh im pretty sure i cant do z33 at all. Sorry mate maybe someone else on here can do it for ya
  5. Yeh i tried with my r32 gtst model code. I have the LMEC on the end of my model code and it worked out fine. I have the projector head lights. I have the climate control and had the "upgraded" stereo. I had the GT auto spoiler and its a type M r32 so thats how i decided it was all pretty right and close to the mark. If any one definitely knew any different im pretty sure they would soon post in here. Still dont get why nissan changed everything from 1991 onwards with model code the R32 GTR's . Did make it a lot easier to decode the model code though
  6. dont know about doing an engine check but here is your vin
  7. I have been doing a lot of searching around on the forums for the answer to what the last letters mean on the model codes for the early model r32 GTR's (L,M,Z and G). cameronbnr32 and garrysandy the only info i could find for you guys (and any one else wondering) was a post from funkymonkey back in 2004. From what i read the letters L and M, which occupy Positions 8 + 9 in the model code, are known as VS Sign (VS Options)... L means it has Projector Headlights M means it has both climate comtrol + upgraded stereo Letters Z and G occupy Positions 10 + 11 in the model code and are known as Pack Sign (Package Extras Sign)... Z Im still not sure what it means but some guys believe it might be to do with the interior trim. RellikZephyr Thought Z = Black Interior Trim. Cant be confirmed unless funkymonkey or someone else knows for sure what it means. G from what i found means ABS and a Viscous LSD Hope that helps a lil for you guys wanting to know. Below is funkymonkey's original post from back in the day
  8. I have the same prblem.....must be doing something wrong lol
  9. Im with the other guys. You should buy a turbo car and sell what you have. way too much effort in building up a non turbo into a turbo that still wont be the same as a stock turbo one would be
  10. I just got the missus to read this and she still doesnt agree with all the money i spend on my skyline lol oh well...wont stop me from doing it
  11. Very nice but i agree with a few of the other guys....just needs something to make the transition between colours. Deinitely something a lil different. Good work!!
  12. Had my 32 off the road for the first 2 months of this year getting a spray job and that was absolute torture for me driving around in my gf's auto astra. Everyone who hopped in the car with me thought i was goin crazy....kept making ppppssssttt noises as i changed the gears lol Feel sorry for you guys who have had to go longer without your line....must be absolute torture!!!
  13. bloody old people, clueless people and out of towners... and those b^&ches driving huge 4wd's!!!! so sick of seeing chix driving 4wd's round town....they are either driving slow hogging the road or they are sitting up your ass honking when your doin the speed limit. Dangerous as all hell and always causing accidents...Sorry if any chix on here drive 4wds but im sick of them
  14. I ran your vin through fast and got you this. To be honest i have no idea what the M, Z or G mean in your model code but i have only ever seen them on r32 gtr's that were built in 1989. Maybe someone else can shed some light on what these 3 letter mean and why they only seem to be on the model codes of early r32 gtr's??
  15. here you go Your model number is KBNR32RBFSAA. Using the below link to decode all the letters you can see its a vspec. http://www.users.on.net/~goofyhsk/info/chassis_plate.html
  16. im exactly the same. Always worrying about my car. I have a mate with a nice alarm setup that has a few speakers inside the car set at deafining db levels so that any would be thief will well and truely be deaf before he gets the car started.
  17. Hey mate, Just ran your vin through nissan fast. The colour code for that car is QM1 which is Cloud White.
  18. Just beat you to it lol
  19. The 6u90000 is not needed to run your vin through fast. They are given to imports when they are complied. Here is your info If you read my post 2 posts above you can decode your blue chassis plate yourself and get all the info you need about your r32
  20. There were some awesome moments in the game last night. Was a very well played game by both sides IMO but in the end we came out on top. The queensland defence held up strong as ever. Go the maroons!!!
  21. For all the guys who want to be able to decode the blue chassis plate in the engine bays of their r32's i have a very useful website that i have used for years. Has everything you would ever want to know about your r32 regardless of wether its a gts, gtst or gtr. Also has a useful link to a R32 Skyline Chassis Number Date Table that tells you when your car was built. Particularly useful for all the guys who dont have access to the nissan fast software. enjoy guys http://www.users.on.net/~goofyhsk/info/chassis_plate.html
