nice info!!! so has anyone got any concrete info on AFR's and what other people are using? like race teams etc etc?

well to give you guys an idea I had a set of stock steel wheel 32 turbos on a fresh engine.... these make more earlier and harder, but the key is the cams matched to these turbos... you need all the things I have put on, ot make these work well, its not just a 1 shot affair making amazing power, have a read of the parts list, and you will find they are all matched for the job. also look at the CRD curve it certainly doesnt run out of puff... makes 1 BAR at about 2900rpm and makes massive NM all over the place! I have semi's for a reason, this car needs them.... with the jim berry clutch my dead granny could drive this to the shops and back!

Im not sure marko, its a car that had previously been down to the GONG for a tune on the dynolog... similar setup to you I guess... Im living in Adelaide now, but will take the car to PI for a track day in Vic for sure! great drive along the great ocean road!!! Well I'm in Adelaide... and yes moved Sydney roads, traffic, police and ugly chicks had got to me finally... As for the car transport? train was a simple matter of being there for the loading, and giving clear instructions.... once the car was on, the best part was it is a direct service to Adelaide with no stops for loading or unloading... this meaning I just flew over, got to the unloading area before the train did the next day (2pm dep. 3pm arr.) and made sure the guys unloading it did the right thing which they did.... I am sure if left to there own devices it would have been a different story! as they certainly were not the brightest bunch you have to love somewhere like little old Adelaide! 10 mins to the CBD and 6 mins to the roads up mount Lofty! GAME ON.... oh and $40 to go to work once a month

This whole AFR argument is an interesting one, Id sure like to know the answer to all the questions what knock is everyone getting? also I beleive Jim turned up the sensativity of my knockmeter? what AFR does say a stock porsche TT have or say a GT2 GT3? anyone? yep just go searching in the NSW section....

they just need to be taken to a decent turbo place like GCG and rebuilt... ring GCG for a costing on GTR rebuilds the wheels etc are fine just bearing wear... PM me once you have done that and got a price...

how hard is it to take the covers off the RB26 in a GT-R? I wouldn't mind doing this at some stage....

no I'm more worried about say a Jun 2.7 or and OS 3.0 turning up and creaming it.... but seriously it would be good fun I know a TO4Z that would be game

well I have this issue now the right globe sometimes doesn't work, and the left I think blew last night! hmmmm I might try cubes trick! so for the R32 GTR a H1 globe is the one needed for the projector style low beam ? correct?

I'm looking for a kit for an R32 GT-R as I have recently had one of the round projector style lights (lowbeam) fail.... is this kit a replacement for these? and if so do you have any in stock? thanks....

well I put my money on MARKO with DART motor and no RB2X allowed!!! 26 only or no fair I'm going to have to call CRD Jim on monday also, and tell him how it is going on the mountian roads of Adelaide...

hahaha you were reading my mind!!! I saw you reading the posts, and wrote the above prior to your message..... Jim @ DART is a great guy, I am certain you could do a power run for only a few $$$$ as a side note he mentioned to me that he was looking at charging $150 per hour dyno time, and that was for just anyone off the street.... I am sure if you mention my car, and SAU he will come to a nice number for you it is well worth the chat with him regardless....

Yep, that is what Jim told me also.... he certainly can build a beautiful RB26 that is for sure! I get knocks of 12 most drives, and on the dyno it saw 17-20 at full tilt... I can't wait till blitz and Marko have run their engines in, as they are or have recently had a DART built motor....

Richard, no its not... its sitting 1 division below the 12.5 that is 12, and it bounces along there on the line or 1 pixel above....

or the apexi pro software...

What AFR's did your mate get and the difference? mine are a safe 12 - 12.1
